  4. You can start by deadening the trunk, doors and roof. These should quiet it down. As far as quiet with the windows down, I don't know if you can do it other than turning it down
  5. double poast
  6. As far as I know, the reed cone of the ER is a bit more rigid compared to the paper cone of the CA, which in general translates to a more detailed sound.

  11. For flat panels, use 3/4" mdf like you would normally use. Not sure on what is available on the market as far as resin goes. Check some boat shops, fiberglass is widely used in boats. You can get the hardener from the same place you get the resin.
  12. I must have missed the SSA model. Link to pictorez ?
  13. Some good reading material there
  14. Oh yeah, getting closer and closer!
  15. His retarded propensity to spend is going to devalue the dollar even further. Considering the Euro is floating at around $1.40 that is absurd. Exactly the opposite of what we need right now. If the dollar goes down even more, it's going to be bad I've got all of my savings in dollars and a credit to pay in euros. Royally screwed.

  21. Dad got out of hospital yesterday and he needs 2 stents, which the insurance doesn't cover As if the financial situation isn't bad enough...
  22. Yeah, holy shit is right.
  23. Any sub, no matter the quality can fail if it is not used correctly. You applied too much power and the subwoofer exceeded it's mechanical limits. It is usually easy to tell when the subwoofer is moving too much and is bottoming out but on the highway with the top down there's going to be so much road noise that you won't be able to hear those sings. After all, it's a single, sealed 10, it's not going to be ungodly loud, let alone be able to cover so much road noise. How big was the box ? Did you have a subsonic filter on the amplifier ? Unfortunately you can't fix it. You have to send it back to Mike.
  24. Hey, you ever messed with Directed's onboard crossover modules? Never did, sorry
  25. I'm busy, tired and pissed on the general way things are going. Barely have any time / motivation to post
