Working with Xilinx again to design and implement a microprocessor. Takes ~2 minutes for the software to compile and generate the programming file Bad part is I always have small things to modify in the code and it has to re-complile and generate a new programming file

Use cotton batting Does it have any problems with moisture ? Not exactly sure if there is moisture in the areas where I want to use it. Just remembered I have a big bag of wool which I used instead of polyfill in 2 enclosures....

IMO it shouldn't play so high that impedance becomes a problem. I've always crossed my subs at or below 50hz. The displacement question would mostly be a concern if you are running it sealed. I personally heard the 12w7, 13w7 and 13w6v2 in the same install. As far as musicality I would put the w6 first, then the 12w7 and the 13w7 last. The w7's seemed to have a bit more authority under 30hz though.

Sean, what do you think about using polyfill instead of thinsulate in the structural cavities for dealing with airborne noise ? Like you used in the truck. It appears to have the same fiber structure. I can't find thinsulate over here. Haven't tried to import it by myself though.

Looks correct to me.

For your application, a simple rectangular port or a round port is very good. No need for fancy flares. Rectangular ports are used because it is sometimes hard to find pipe with the right surface. Also, a rectangular port will add a bit to the strength of the box and will also be itself strong. Far more easy to bend compared to a round port.

2 days before my first final there's an sq competition less than 100mi away Wish I could go, the crowd from this weekend's competition is going to be there and we sure had fun this weekend.

So what'd you net in the whole process? When I first sold it it paid for the xxx Hopefully I can sell it for a bit of profit again. There's another one for sale here for $500. Should be a simple and cheap fix this time since I know it almost inside-out.

Finally re-united with my old Viper amp Idiot I sold it to kept blowing it. Apart from the horrendous fixes that it went through, the idiot used it below 1 ohm and kept blowing the power supply (easy fix). He decided to sell it for $100...couldn't pass such an offer
