bewtween which two? aq 2200 and what else? one of my points are most of the people on here that are talking bad about aq, have this whole theory based on one guy who had problems. AQ arent bad amps, from my experience they are very reliable. when it proves me wrong i guess ill be corrected, but if it doesnt then as far as i know i like them alot Sit back, chill and read my previous posts. AQ 2200D = Hifonics BXi 2607D. Aboslutely no trace of us amps design in them so your saying youve had "personal" experience with the aq amps right? Let's just say I have the schematic and know a thing or two about amps. Personal experience with the Audioque proves nothing. Examine the internal pictures of both amps. I really don't mean to burst anyone's bubble with the AQ and Hifonics comparison, I'm just stating my observations.

Quite a power diffrence. Especially considering the transformers seem identical in the 23 and 22 pics posted. Other than finding someone with an MD23 that wants to list out the transistor models and comparing to what you have...I can't think of anything else.

They appear to be the same (MD22 and MD23). What are the power specs ? I suspect one is a newer model and the other older, with the name beeing the only diffrence The transistor clamps are the small metal plates that press down the transistors. Each plate is secured with a screw in the middle and it presses a pair of transistors.

right now i have 2 kicker comps they are only THE c-12 thow, and see i dont really have a goal at THE time and the amplification is another debate but hopefuly a sundown if i can You really have to set your goals. Otherwise you will very likely end up spending money and not getting what you wanted. A couple more questions : how much do you want to spend ? What is it you don't like about your setup ? Not enogh output ? Too peaky response ?

As far as I know, the Nightshade falls in a diffrent category than the SSD/Q. What system do you have now ? What are your goals for the system ? Amplification / electrical system planned ?

I would put it in the back (stock battery will provide a bit of aid IF it is in good condition). At what voltage does it sit with the engine off ? Don't measure right after you stopped the engine. Also, what's your voltage with the engine on ? Music off in both cases.

IMO, braces > doubled up panels. Braces save weight and lots of material.
