for new amp Why not try them with the car on and start each once the voltage is at a certain level ? With full-power tests you are going to be pulling a bit of current from the batteries and even with 237Ah, multiple tests are going to hurt a bit

Started the A-pillars : Rather pleased how it turned out so far, tomorrow I'm going to cover it in fleece and finish the fiberglass work on it. Still debating on keeping it that tall of cutting it half-way. It's going to be covered in black vynil. Right now I'm a bit confused with the time alignment. The "16v mod" always makes me laugh Simple amps. You guys should look at the banda's. Between Zenon, Banda and Stetstom I'd probably pick Banda, Zenon and then Stetstom.

Why did it short out ? What shop told you this ? If they can't figure out what's wrong with a measly amp it's time to change some things...

Adrian and I are running the SEAS neo Textiles with them active. For the money, I think it is very good set up that needs very little power. My cross over point is at 2k and they seem happy. I am considering trying to move up to three way and slide a 2" Tang Band mid to take some of the upper range work off the MLI's and some of the lower range work off the SEAS. I have the amp to do it, just not sure I want to go that far yet. I played a little with them today... MLI's crossed at 3.2k with a 2nd order slope. Tweeters crossed at 4k with a 2nd order slope. I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Played only with the tweeters and I didn't like how they sounded crossed at 2.5k. Highpass on the MLI's is at 40hz Not sure about the magnet diameter, but watch the basket. It's pretty big

As long as the voltage on the batteries doesn't go over 14.4V you're ok to charge with the gear connected. Heck, my charger is set at 18v and I ran my gear a few times while charging the battery.

What model ? I haven't had too much playtime with the MLI's (mine are also flat on the door) but to my ears they sound ok paired with the H1396 from Seas.
