  1. Thank you Sir !!! I'm having trouble looking this up too ... seems possible though, would be interesting to see Thank you Sir !!!
  2. My thing is that I want ride comfort, not to raise the truck up, down, or side to side. Strictly for a smooth ride while sitting low going down the road. ... And I'm thinking that the front setup is completely bolt on, just swap out the springs and shocks or just the shocks. I will know more about them as soon as I get them here at the house ...
  3. The problems that we had with our PowerStroke Diesels (Comcast) is the fuel tanks deteriorating and getting trash into the injectors ... Several had to have the tanks and injectors replaced ... Another thing was very cold starts ... but they had that plug in the grille that allowed you to plug into an A/c outlet to keep the glowplugs warm ...
  4. I was told that with our new Chevy Cruiz ... If you alter the electronics on that car it would void the warranty ... Is that the case ???
  5. Well ain't this some shit ... I told my dad that I lowered my truck the other day. He's cool with it cause he's helped me with my other low riders in the past and said he has something that I need for my truck tucked away in the storage shed ... It seems like a few months ago, maybe longer ... He traded for a truck similar to mine that was lowered. So when the truck was ready to be sold, the Guy wanted the truck to have a stock suspension setup under it. So dad took (from what was told to me) the AIR BAGS out and installed stock parts back under the truck. He said that he put those lowering parts in a box and put them into the storage shed out back ... As many times that I've been over there, and he knows how much I love low riders (this being my personal 3rd GMT400, but lowered many other GMT400s for friends), that he has forgot to tell me something like this ... LOL So you can bet your ass that I will be back down there this weekend to see what is in that box and if I can incorporate anything into my setup ... I'd love to have a set of air bags under this truck !!!
  6. I always get my amplifier work done at TIPS (www.linearpower.com) ... ... and thank you for the comments on my truck !!!
  7. Welcome to SSA ... It would seem to me like if the amplifier came with a "tinted" cover ... you would not be able to see the internals until the LED lights came on ... I've never run this product, so I would not know for sure ... just an observation Best of luck and hope you get things worked out ...
  8. I will look into it ... Thanks !!! But I do not plan on changing that hood anytime soon ... Those things are not cheap !!! ... now looking at those pics, I REALLY need to get back to work on those HID retros ...
  9. Thank you Sir ... and yes, all suggestions ARE welcome !!! HD Hood ??? Not sure what this is, but the hood has already been upgraded to a steel cowl induction ...
  10. Thanks brother !!! Been trimming fenderwells all weekend, so we needed to rest and relax at the Casino for the night ... LOLSounds like a great way to unwind man.Yes Sir ... That we did !!!

  14. Back when I was doing DJ / bar band Electronics / parties work ... I had very good luck out of Peavey Electronics ... Their amplifiers, monitors, towers, and floor subs were bad ass !!! I still have some of that stuff in storage ...

  16. happy birthday
  17. Thanks man ... and I agree with you on that !!! My son is mad at me cause I won't let him take it to the football game Friday night ... LOL I've got to finish working on it before something tears up on it ...
  18. Well ... here it is guys !!! 4" front and 6" rear ... We need to trim the finderwells, install a "C" notch, replace the front tires, and get a front end alignment ... But for the most part ... She rides great !!! for a Low Rider ... LOL I know, these pics were taken a night. Mainly because we just finished her up before I had to get to work ... I know, I realy didn't want to go THAT low ... but screw it, you only live once ... I plan to have fun with it !!!
  19. Its all good brother ... No worries, but If I could see a "midrange driver" like you are referring to dig down and play consistant around 50 to 70 hertz like i have mine set to now, I might would consider it (well, atleast think about it) ...Ha, no way. They won't but you don't need those freq's up top for imaging. If they can't handle it, I don't need them then ... I know Sir ... which is why I bought the best drivers that would work for my application ...and if I didn't need those frequiencies up there, I wouldn't have made the effort to set it up that way ...
  20. Not sure ... just testing the waters of a better score, but whatever got done ... Improved scoresand having them like the was sounded really nice for 2 seat listening, but passenger seat sounds like shit now where stage and image is concerned. but most orgs only judge single seat now ... kinda sucks actually, but what can you do
