  1. I have to say from all the forums I've visited, SSA has the least amount of scammers, and problematic transactions--by far.
  2. Awe man, well they better come out nice if your paying a shop to do it.

Yeah it bugs me too ...

    Order now and save man!
  5. Nice speakers. Glassing the doors?
  6. I suggest getting a bunch of different size fuses (lower rating then wire rating & amplifier's onboard fusing), and seeing how long you can run the amplifier for, before each fuse size blows. You may find that you can use a small fuse size to drop into a lower pressure class in meca, and the fuse will still pass enough current to do a short burp before it blows. Might be helpful for competing.
  7. Will they draw more power? Perhaps, but I'm sure the amplifiers themselves are more efficient, better designed, and more reliable then the crescendo, especially when wiring that low. A lot of amplifier effiency ratings are done at a higher impedance load, and higher frequency tone.

    I kid.

Ever since the update, everyone is using it as an excuse to raise their post count with triple posts.

If by some weird chance or reason I make headlines for something, something bad, I'll say God told me to do it. I'm just that asshole.

Tiny display pictures, no animated gifs. What has this world come to.

That hard to hurt even with gear. I still have my need for speed, but thats why I don't own anything two wheeled. J You live, learn, and heal. Yes I was pretty skinned and bruised up, but not dead. My knees took the most damage. Hit a deer on my snowmobile once. Luckily for me it was only his leg. Still had me shaking and not wanting to lead for a while. Last week when I was up north we were in Moose country and right off the road (Hwy 1 - gorgeous and FUN drive) where I've nearly walloped a few. Really didn't want to see one on the sled. Last year dirt biking, came up on someone going the "wrong" way on the trail, I got to the very edge (barrier of cactus), and the guy didn't move over at all. We clipped handle bars. I was hesitant to lead for a while after that. Now, I always lead. Your trails are directional? I wish ours were. Of course, then I'd have problems with trees There aren't signs posted, but all the norms know what direction everyone goes. Later we ran into some more guys in his group, they said they just started going the other way because the whoops weren't as bad. They also said don't mind so and so.

When I'm driving in anything with 4 wheels, I'm always really cautious about speed. I do about 3mph over speed limit but that's it (unless something hooligan-esque is happening). But whenever I'm on the Buell, I feel impervious to speed limits. It's very foolish, I admit. Maybe it's from all those years on the dirt bike when I could go as fast as I pleased. I try to get my need for speed out of my system when I ride the dirt bike, but when I jump in the car, I still wanna go!
  20. Thanks guys.
  21. Interesting concept, not sure how the lower mounted drivers would interfere with the "staging", nor do I know your cross over points.
  22. I don't believe in telling the OP to buy a bunch of shit he may not need, just to cover all the bases. Yes he will need to upgrade his electrical supply to properly power the amp, and keep it from burning up, but since I don't know exactly how many batteries he needs, I'd rather offer the advice of checking the voltage with the HO alt and battery, then start adding one battery at a time until the voltage is sufficient. Instead of simply saying go buy xxx amount of batteries.

    Don't drink much wine, but:
  24. There's nothing wrong with adjusting the gain, seeing the voltage start to drop below your desired point, and back it off. Order batteries, and repeat the process. I assume the OP isn't stupid, and doesn't leave it at low voltage for any long period of time.
