  1. I love seeing glass work, unfortunately not too many people do it, or post it on ssa.
  2. I'm digging all the wood work. Bracing and front of wall looks stellar. What weight mat are you using? Three layers seems a bit thin?

Anyone actually played with this stuff? I could think of a few things it'd be useful for. *now watch, someone will have something better and I'll feel dumb I came across it while looking for primer on amazon. For small things I would consider fiber glassing, but this could be way easier.

You need more power. I have a monster track for the trail and can still break it loose a lot. Will pull "wheelies" at 40mph without having a clutch to dump as well. Power to weight is the fun. Oh, and I have mine setup to not pull wheelies as I like to have my skis on the ground when I need to turn. No apehanging to show off here, but modulating the front to bang the bumps you bet. 250cc two stroke is plenty of power for everything I do. Only time I'm wot is for a few straight-aways throughout the trails, maybe twenty seconds max.

Sean's a happily married man. Please refrain from the gay questions. Yours a two stroker?
  8. "Skar and Obsidian like the lows better" What is that based on? Does a bigger magnet mean it's louder? What don't you like about the dcon? Loudest? At one frequency? Overall? No one knows which will be louder in your enclosure alignment, and vehicle. Only assumptions can be made. I'm glad your power is "clean", I hate it when mine gets dirty, and I have to bring out the broom and dustpan. As much as I didn't help you in any way, perhaps you understand my reasoning. Generalities get no where, and assumptions aren't exactly helpful. What you will get is people who like one brand over another, and suggesting it's better.

Rode yesterday at one trail, rained, lots of traction. You could lean it, gas it, it'd stick. If you really wanted to break traction and slide, just bang on the throttle a bit more. Rode today at a different place, no rain. Sliding everywhere. Sliding into bermed turns was a hoot, but flat - off camber turns was sketchy. Then I noticed my rear tire was so worn it had no nubs left.

I beg to differ. Dirt bikes are fun, don't get me wrong, but everything you like about them is better on snow. Including normal rider comfort in the environment. I'm sure some of the similarities on the snowmobile would be more extreme, thus more fun, such as drifting around corners. I just love the feeling of being leaned up on the gas tank, dive bombing into a turn, inner leg extended out, bike leaned way way over, and accelerating out. One of my favorite parts is going through big well spaced whoops. Hit first one, lift front end into the air, wheelie over the top of the next whoop, set front end down, hit next whoop, wheelie out, etc. Plus I have all the desert to ride. If there was snow instead, I'd probably get a snowmobile. Yours a two stroker?

What do you have to do with integrals? Evaluate between two points? Are you evaluating an integral for a sine function, finding the area between two points. Then evaluating an integral for the square (clipped) signal, finding the area between two points, then comparing the difference? I think a square wave is around 41% more power then a sine wave? sine wave rms = peak*0.707 square wave rms = peak, or 1.414*sinewaverms Assuming of course, their amplitude is the same. You are correct on that. I just wanted to re-do the math behind it. 0.707 is plenty for showing what happens. Basically I need to find out the area under the sine wave graph between 0 and PI and the sine wave is A*sin(wt). Damn memory, I can't do any integral You can pull out A when you find the anti derivative, then multiply the anti derivative by A. -cos(wt)/w + c would be the anti derived of sin(wt) Then throw the A back in: -Acos(wt)/w +c Now evaluate from [0,π] -Acos(wπ)/w + Acos(w0)/w Assuming t is the input.

  16. Yeaaaaah, about those SSA amplifiers and that 4000rms subwoofer you talked about once before.. Hinting at the fact you had two things in the pipe for the time being. Well, since then, the Zcon has been released, and the Fcon is in final stages. With those two thing out of the pipeline within the next few weeks, how soon can we hear about this 4000rms subwoofer of yours There is another sub woofer line planned after the Fcon, but it will not be 4000 rms. I don't remember speaking about such a driver personally. With our build costs being on the high side, we don't have the funds to crank out 7 new things every 3 months. "Only cone pix of the drivers. These are not being made anytime soon. We have two other things in the pipeline (at least we plan) first." Post #23 I may have tooken this wayyy out of context, is what usually happens when you do wishful thinking That was before the zcon, a prototype. I believe. The motor was absolutely massive.
  17. I feel the same way Brad stated about the pre orders. I'd be very surprised if he gets enough pre orders in time. I believe it's asinine to not do business with them, solely because there are shady businesses online. Shady businesses that have zero affiliation with diycable. Perhaps if he had a different first name? I admit I haven't done much business with Kevin, but when I did make my order, I received it within a week, with zero issues.
  18. 32hz would be better.

Bummer, raining were I'm at as well. Just gives me another excuse to do it another day. Luckily TRP from the forum is hosting a show next month, so that gives me a little incentive to tidy everything up. Hopefully it'll have a few more sq oriented cars. I think I'll hike up the mountains today, maybe bring a bow for shits n giggles. Gotta work today, tomorrow may bring doin' a little something. No incentive here, no shows very close to me. Whatcha working on tomorrow? Would like to go with my son and do a little target shooting, but that will depend on the weather. My son blew a mid in his car and need to come up with something to get that straightened out. Sounds fun. Over-excursion?

Was just about to do some work on the a-pillars, I step outside, it's raining, wtf, I didn't hear it.
  24. I'm skeptical of that.
