  1. What's your budget? Are you willing to try your hand at fiberglassing an enclosure? Another possible option is a center console enclosure. Just something to think about.
  2. Solid but cheap. I wouldnt take it to a car show. What's that suppose to mean?

Supposedly they only last a few days after making. Reminds me of cannabis tincture, only not as good.

That's why I get an alert on my phone every second someone makes a new post. I gotta be the first! Gotta reach 6000 posts so I can be in the uber elite hidden forum section. Almost there, then I'll never post again. I bet people wonder what the hell is wrong with me. One post being helpful, and another being fragmented to all hell making almost no sense at all. IHOP nonsense ftw You're a post whore, I've been here ~ year longer than you and you have more posts than me lol Well I must be doing something right considering all the green boxes I see every time I post.

Same here Can't wait for Friday Make sure you are taking your lean protein. As in meat ? Or protein as powder or what other form it is sold as a supplement ? What ever form you prefer and aligns with your diet and goals. Loads of chicken and tuna with some whey protein powder is a good start. If you have a mixer you can make fluff with the whey, milk, and some berries or other fruit. Or just make ice cream shakes. And today, no fat!
  8. This is the SQ thread, that stuff should go in spl edition:

Something about that sub setup just gives me the goose bumps, it simply looks loud, very loud. And for those who are wondering, yes I see "loudness" not feel it.
  10. Did you have kicks in the Hyundai? Have you ever moved your leg around and noticed a difference in sound? I am in the "tuning" stage with the Hyundai. To answer your question, I do not have fabricated kicks but have tested speaker placement. From my testing I can very easily affect high frequency ouput with the tweeter mounted low. Therfore affecting stage height. Do you feel otherwise? The stage in my car appears to be a few inches above and beyond my dash, I've used several sq tracks from the focal lab cds and sheriff for testing out the edges and so forth, this is all with my tweeters positioned directly below my midrange in the kicks. My left leg actually does block visibility of the drivers at times, but I don't seem to notice in difference in sound when driving and listening. I just wondered what you experienced in your setup.

  12. I'm using the super tweeter, because I like sound it produces, the jl tweeter is a little too bright. As far as the Infinity coaxials, those were rear-fill. The XO points were approximate, but I based those off a build that i demo'd using the same drivers (minus the beyma tweeters). How did you listen to the super tweeters? full range? active? If so what crossover points and slopes? Reason I ask, the JLs could possibly be EQ'd and crossed over differently and in turn sound completely different. Also on stage height, if you position the tweeters directly below the midrange drivers, it can raise the stage height.
  13. Im on my phone but it looks like shit to me. I think it uses magic fairy dust. They don't go into any details on how it works, just a box that looks like it has some capacitors possibly, and a bunch of wire for additional grounding. " * Save Up To 5% On Fuel! * Increase Horsepower Up To 7% more hp! * Easy to install - Takes Less Than 20 Minutes! * Fits All Makes And Models Of Cars And Trucks! * Works On Carbureted And Fuel Injected Engines! * For Gasoline And Diesel Engines! " Yeah I don't think that little box is going to increase HP or MPG, much less solve your issue. Aside from using a smaller pulley (which may very well be a bad idea), personally it sounds like you should just leave it be, just no long demos in the parking lot.

This probably will sound stupid, but I've always wondered: Do people out there even buy winter clothing? Like do you own a good pair of gloves and boots? Haha not really. I don't own gloves or boots. Just a bunch of hoodies, and a nice coat for when it is super cold. Gloves, boots? What the fuck is that? Nah, but coats and jackets are pretty much enough for around here.

It's even cold here in Tucson. Light rain for the last few days and highs around 45.

  18. The scion is looking sweet. Awesome on the sound deadening treatment, i wish i had the $$$ to do mine when i pulled my headliner and moonroof out.
  19. Happy Birthday man!
  20. That's my plan, unless someone persuades me otherwise! With the port firing back, I'm worried about rattle. The door isn't very solid, and I don't plan on dampening it will early next year along with the new alt. How much of a difference do you think up vs back would make? And any ideas on tuning? From what I've read 34 seems good. They will be seeing near x2 the power, give or take because of stock electrical. But from what I've read with 6 cuft net, they should be able to hold their own. Only way to know is by testing. As to how much power they can take, Ive never used the drivers, nor do I want to suggest what they are / arent capable of. You can always adjust the gain accordingly.
  21. Subs up, port back. Go with as much cone area as possible with adequate enclosed volume for ported. With 6cubes net 2 15" sundown SAs sounds like a good plan. Just my opinion. Since your listening to music with lots of low frequency bass, id tune around 30hz. You can download winisd and model an enclosure with a specific driver, and see how tuning changes things.
  22. Time for some glass on the sides I see. Looking good, as usual.
  23. Oh my bad, I didn't see that you were asking about the 3400, which doesn't have the metal, somehow I kept reading 1200. Nathan should see this on monday and help you out.
