  1. If you ban him, how is he suppose to login here on ssa and reply to your post? How is he suppose to see this? How would deleting his entire section benefit anyone? He stopped taking enclosure orders a while ago, focusing on his line of drivers irrc, but that's no excuse for not getting back to you about your enclosure. Hopefully he logs in and takes care of this.

Huh ? Did Kevin move ? went to smd He's still here, He's expanding his reach. I could see how one could think that, but when Mark and Aaron went out of their way to help the guy and make this place the home of his OFFICIAL forum, and then he goes and links to his NEW forum on SMD on the Skar home page, he just spat in their faces. He just keeps digging himself a bigger hole. Where have we seen this before? Ben Milne is the big boy, the others I won't even bother mentioning. He moved there because of all the shit he gets from people on here. At smd, no one will question him, and he'll be free to sell his products without constant harassment. At least that's what I believe.
  3. Battery enclosure and amp mounting looks great, I hope I can come up with something similar for my next build.
  4. The Mods have zero control over Argent Audio.

Didn't expect that, was expecting it to go to CrApCO. Already there, seems to be following a forum and product model. Whatcha guys talking about?
  6. ssh replied to BrianSmith's topic in Sundown Audio
Don't rule out a model of drivers because you heard them in one setup and they didn't sound good. Installation and amplifier settings can make any driver sound terrible.

I could be misreading so correct me if I'm wrong, but are you the kind of person that forces your child to win and be the best in what he chooses to play? Or are you simply saying "I'm not going to reward him when he hasn't accomplished any goals" ?

All I will say is: Don't watch that video and think because they metered a 149db that you can get similar results, especially on music.

Most people that were severely beat when they were a child grow up and do the same to their kids. There are always exceptions, but just because something worked well for one person doesn't mean everyone else should endure the same.

The MS8 adjusts phase through it's "auto tune", it sounds awful with their auto tune on, so mine is disabled. So I can't adjust phase on ms8.
  11. ssh replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
That including phase? Haven't touched phase yet. oppsie. Amp doesn't have a phase knob, so I should try swapping the + and - on speaker terminals?
  12. Orphan drivers look stellar, sad to see you go. I hope your debt collection goes smoothly.

Just found my notebook I used for tuning my active setup. Counted 70 crossover and slope combinations

    Seriously!
  15. Looks like you guys had fun I wish the beach was a tad closer to AZ heh.
  16. I can't remember the name for the life of me, it's European company with a test bench designed to analyze just about everything on an amplifier. Their test bunch was called some cube, or of the sort. If I can remember the name I'll post the link for shits n giggles.

I've been out of HS for 14 years and haven't worked out since then, and the past couple years have been pretty sedentary aside from the walking I do at work and fuck sessions and I am just now gaining weight, but it mostly has to do with my disease. I was always around 3% body fat and my doctors always told me I should be dead with such a low percentage for my weight, but yeah. I'm just now getting up to 5% and I gained 15 lbs. over the past year, then lost 10 and now have some excess skin around my waist. I am always cold, and no matter what I eat, I don't gain anything. It's nice, but it also sucks too. Being cold all the time is the worst part of having low body fat. All these people at school wearing tee shirts and I'm freezing my balls off in long sleeves. Oh yeah.

Your metabolism is fucking insane bro. You are one of the skinniest college kid's I have ever met. J Yep yep.
  19. Because most car audio setups aren't that intricate or designed for SQ like home audio. If you look around, I think you could find some serious audiophile car setups with L-Pads.

I haven't gained any weight in the last three years, I'm eighteen. I'm guessing on account of my high metabolism. I eat steak and a salad once a week, pasta / spaghetti once a week, and the rest of the time it's either left overs, or junk food like Inn n out, Mcdonalds, etc. As far as exercising, for the last three years it's just been dirt biking twice a week. In the last two months: mountain bike 2-3 times a week, dirt bike 1-2 times a week, and workout for 30-40 minutes every two days.

Yup. Secret to life right there. Set goals then break into smaller parts then start achieving. Have you read the article about why video gamers make the best body builders? It's so Damn funny. And true. Link. Now. There are exceptions.
  22. There was a thread on c a c o where a guy got a saz3000d and crescendo 3kwp and pulled them both apart. He said they were identical except for their cases & heatsinks. The guys username was "807tubenut." The guy also modified the 3kwp to see how much more power he could get out of it (just for fun), he seemed to know what he was doing.
  23. I just want to make sure your on the same page as what Drew is suggesting. This setup is not geared for playing music, just tones, correct?
  24. I guess I'm the only person that understood what Edub was saying, just adding to what Jon said, that's why he quoted him... I honestly don't know anything at all about the DC amps, but one thing for sure: they look awesome. Hope they're reliable and robust, hold up to your "non violent" setup.

Not sure of any free applications. Do you need it for future use or one time deal? If it's just for a month or so, you could download trials of Sony Vegas or Adobe Audition. Hell Windows Movie Maker may work if your just trimming.
