Lazy professors I would much rather just do the homework on paper. I do everything on paper then enter it on the computer. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. Some shit it's super picky about, even if your correct. Trying to graph is a bitch, you can't input points, you have to drag the points with a mouse. Moving a pixel is like .5 on the graph, just enough to be marked wrong... Half the time the website is down or the teacher forgets to upload the assignments. On the brighter side of things, if you get a problem wrong it immediately tells you and can link to some material for help. Although I've been better off using google each time and learning off numerous sites. So far it's pretty easy, calc. Key words: so far.

Check out the "subs for sale" thread. That headliner explains a lot.

Math hw online, ugh. I'm so use to using "x" for the input variable, I keep using it in the answer instead of "r", etc. Keep getting the answers spit back and have to start over.

Which engineer? It's the product line manager, Andy Wehmeyer. He's actually been extremely helpful in the thread. It's over 200 pages filled with a lot of crap, but there's also fifty pages or so with good information on the ms8.

There's a thread about the ms8 on diyma, one of the managers for the ms8 from jbl drops in occasionally. I basically stated that after trying every possible combination / trick, I couldn't get the ms8 to sound worth a damn unless I turned off the processing. Some people suggested running the sweeps at a lower volume, looking further past the mirrors and windshield when doing the auto tune, unplugging mic after calibration, etc, etc. I did everything and it sucks in comparison to defeat. I was hoping someone and or the guy from jbl would have some sort of solution or possible firmware update. The guy from jbl comes back and says "maybe you just don't like how the ms8 EQs..." Guess all the additional features are a waste in my case?!

Your going to be there all day. Shits like IKEA for new home owners. LOL I don't need much, but I figured if I'm going to be in the area I could find an excuse to walk in Heh heh. Do they have one retail store / warehouse?

  13. I hope it is helpful. The RA affects the input signal by adding to the frequencies center at 45 and 32 hertz. The amount of signal added and level of the signal is adjustable. Zed Audio calls it a sub woofer control preamplifier. You would use it to "exaggerate" the sub bass input signal. Basically to put more bass in music. So it's basically just an EQ with two points to boost around.
  14. Like flush mount?
  15. How does it effect the sound? Basically I'm asking why use it?

It will. The money just has to move here. Going to take at least another 20 years for it to be real mainstream, but its coming. Actually, it's the illegals bringing it here. Stricter border security, we must stop the spread of.............soccer?
  19. I believe SteveMead has some Bravox 6.5s for sale in the F/S section. I believe they are brand new. ------ I'm not very familiar with the rzr, so I don't know what limitations you have as far as space for amplifiers and speakers. I'm assuming it operates on 12v battery 14v charge? Since your in an open environment it's going to be difficult to get any midbass punch or bass, especially when your cruising. I say you can end up with decent sound (loud vocals etc) but don't expect any bass or any impact from snares, etc. Using multiple speakers will increase output (so you can actually hear music when cruising) but will ruin the last possible chance of any sort of "stage."
  20. Don't we all. Basically you want the best speaker, you want it to excel at everything, with zero compromises? What's your budget? Mounting depth? I'm assuming this is coaxial as well? Your not going to get any bass from a 6.5" coaxial, perhaps if it was a dedicated 6.5" subwoofer (but that's pushing it)... When you say "RZR", I'm assuming a yamaha side by side? So the speakers will be in an open environment?
  21. Not to put anyone down, but you didn't reach 159.8dB with 25watts. Obviously you know that amp was a "cheater amp"... However I don't care how much power you use, if you manage to reach that mark, that's outstanding.
  22. Never used Ohio Gen so I can't comment on them. In my book DC Power is very good quality. If you need the alt(s) soon, perhaps DC Power isn't the best choice though. One of the employees at DC, Kyle, has a honda accord and one or two of their alts under the hood, with a bunch of videos doing bench testing, stereo equipment at full tilt and voltage, etc. somewhere on here: http://www.youtube.com/user/dcpowerinc#p/u
