The V40 Rebuild, Front Stage Only. Update: Rear cargo area.
Should be awesome, definitely something that I'll have to hear. I might go active soon too so it'll be nice to hear the Exodus in person. Good luck man. Thanks, We'll definitely meet up once I'm done and content, I still need to hear your car, changing it about as fast as I do LOL.

The V40 Rebuild, Front Stage Only. Update: Rear cargo area.
I know people like pictures so...... Haven't decided if that will be the final mounting place for the display. MS8 and Eclipse amp will be mounted in this: May try smoothing it out and doing a piano finish later, or not. Started the bases for the kicks, Have to wait until all the drivers show up before I can progress.

The V40 Rebuild, Front Stage Only. Update: Rear cargo area.
With the help of fellow ssa members, especially Sean, Brad, and Lithium; I've been able to narrow down my choices to the following equipment. 2 Exodus ex-anarchy, playing double duty (midbass, midrange) 2 Peerless hds tweeters 1 Eclipse ea4100 4 channel amplifier 1 Jbl ms8 The plan is mounting each ex-anarchy and hds tweeter in the kick. MS8 and 4channel amp will be mounted in the cargo area, next to rear battery.

Aiming Kick Pods
Not completed, but I'm starting to think about mounting it elsewhere (not a whole lot of room on the dash area for a clean look). I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow. Pretty impressive cuts eh!

Aiming Kick Pods
I can do that. I got the ms8 today, ran the wires for the lcd display and mounted it on the lower dash for now. Exciting stuff ha.

Aiming Kick Pods
Two comments. - all rules of thumb fail - "try" was the right word, but also implies that it isn't the only position you listen to them before settling on one Personally for any listening position (either both seats or strictly driver seat) I almost always start with them aimed basically towards the back of the HU. The key word is "start", that isn't always exactly how they end up. But off axis usually ends up working out best for me in the end. When doing kicks you should end up spending hours trying out different aimings, different positions, different arrangements, etc. You might find in your vehicle a different aiming scheme works better. When testing for aiming positions, Does the driver need to be enclosed or can I simply hot glue some dowels to the baffle and mount the drivers (like a skeleton frame)?

Like anything else, you have to unzip it first before you can have some fun.- Glock 19 or 21/30
What purpose would you have for fully automatic? Burning a hole in your pocket? You wouldn't be able to hit anything.- hilarious vid 170+db
The makers of that video should be shot.- Glock 19 or 21/30
We also have an xd with a 0.357 sig barrel, nice firearm. I'm not very informed about the Glocks, but on the xd and xdm just by looking at the pistol you can tell if there's a round in the chamber, and if the hammer is cocked. Oh and the safety works off the grip, so unless your actually holding it or applying force to the back of the grip, it will not fire.- Glock 19 or 21/30
While your at it, check out Springfield Armory, I have the xdm, very comfortable grip, lightweight, accurate, holds 19rds (9mm in my case).- ssa log for t-shirt

I just found that pic on the interwebz, not my car. What's the blue shit on your hands? Not my hands, just found a pic of a baffle like what I made today. I quoted you to make my point clear And it's literally flying right over my head, I'm either severely out of it today, or plain dumb.- Welcome to the IHoP
If you think that's big, try fitting 3-ways in your kickpanels Took me a couple hours to even figure out how I wanted to do it. Ofcourse that's why everything takes me 18 times longer than it should, I spend more time thinking about shit than I do actually building it. I found that pic online, it looks like the shape I did for cutting my baffle. My entire baffle is about 11.5" long from top to bottom. I'll likely make new baffles for each driver, space the mid further back and pull the tweeter over towards the outer edge. I just have to be patient and wait for the drivers to show up.- Welcome to the IHoP
I don't know about may have to, but I am sure you may want to. Tweeter aiming and woofer aiming are independent. I just figured using them on the same baffle would make aiming everything easier. I'll play around with everything once I get the drivers in. I just found that pic on the interwebz, not my car. What's the blue shit on your hands? I'm glad I didn't go with 8s Sean, I started making the baffle for both the anarchy and hds as one, like this: Man is it big! May have to cut it into separate baffles and play around with positioning. I should have everything by the end of the week - beginning of next week. I'm stoked.- Team SSA welcomes Zack Metts | World Bass Boxing Champion
Couldn't have said it any better.- Welcome to the IHoP
Looks like I can put some 2" pvc pipe on the top/backside of the kick pods and port length will only be a few inches. Oh yeah, time for some music! - Welcome to the IHoP
