  1. Dropping into the 11s isn't good, but generally short bursts wont be anything detrimental. I think they've also been ran up to 16v or so. But jacob would know best.
  2. Good call, I forgot about that.

Just being on the safe side. Or if your nut on your output stud came loose... And I know your not a noob, just figured im already typing everything so mine as well.
  4. well i take that back, it wasn't full tilt because we didn't have the amp turned all the way up. but it was at least 3/4 tilt. and voltage was around 12.5 Well 12.5 is well within operating voltage. But it obvisiously doesn't work now, so id get ahold of chris at db-r?
  5. What was your voltage at full tilt?

Do you have a battery in the rear that's near the amplifier? If so, I would just ground to that, and the battery is grounded to the frame. If your talking about running a ground wire from your negative terminal on your starting battery ALL the way to the back to the amp, that's just a waste. (assuming your car has decent grounding points in the engine bay, which it should) No battery in the back. And yes, I was talking about running it all the way to the front. I'll also be doing the big 3. Then I wouldn't bother, traditional positive power line and grounding cable to frame (short as possible) will work fine. Look for the grounding wires from the engine to the frame, they may be exposed braided steel wire. Just add additional wire at those points. Add another cable from chassis to negative battery terminal. Then lastly, cable from output stud on alternator to positive terminal on battery (fused). <--When you do this one, make sure you have the negative battery terminal disconnected. Hope that helps.

Awesome!! I'm jealous. Also did some climbing around: Managed to pry some large sticks under a massive boulder and roll it off the side of a cliff, it was awesome. I'm sure some super nature lovers wouldn't approve but it was in the middle of no-where and it landed on some dead fallen trees.

  9. checked all connections, checked fuse holder, checked connections at the amp. every things good and tight. stock alt, optima yellow top under the hood (i don't know what model but its the most powerful one they have), and electrical is stock for now. 1/0 big three is on the way. the stock electrical seems to hold it pretty well. at full tilt the lights dim only slightly You can't gauge voltage drop off the amount of light dimming. You probably fried it. You can either contact Jacob or just go directly to http://www.db-r.com/ to get it fixed.
  10. The latest saz1500d v2 is like 1.5" shorter overall. Yours look like their the same length, so both v1 but just different revisions?

Hope he's in the 15%. I'm not super familiar with ALS, do they have any treatments?

Windows look nice, having it too dark just sucks at night. Keeping stock wheels, or powder-coating them?

Went camping for a night, spur of the moment. Camped right off a ledge, Hiked down looking up to the ledge, Pretty much just carried all our shit hiking across the forest for thirty minutes til we found that spot.
  14. Check your power connections, positive and ground. Do you have a stock electrical system? Aftermarket alt, additional batteries?
  15. Just a guess, 35lbs-40lbs.
  16. I see Big Jon has called in the back up.

What's a good dark comedy? Something along the lines of: funny people, everything must go, henry poole is here, shrink.

I wouldn't even know where to begin on how to pick headphones, aside from aesthetics, brand name, and price. I'm guessing any listing with a frequency range is a joke, alike speakers advertised for x to x when in reality it'll only perform decent at x to x. Maybe sensitivity? I know I'd just be shooting in the dark.

Why can't you wrap them? The flocking is nice, but I don't know how well it will hold up with the sun beating down on it. Check with Donjer to make sure it is UV protected. I have used their product several times, but only to line glove box and console interiors. i cant get the grill cloth to follow the curves without creasing, etc. according to the website, nylon is the way to go, 'Nylon flocking fibers are Durable, Weather Resistant, and Colorfast, making them popular for outdoor use!' Well until yesterday I had no idea what flocking was, but I'm tuned in to see how it goes.

Hadn't bothered to click on that thread, didn't realize it was a vote thread. Since you asked, you got it. I almost feel bad for the rep since no ones really voting. I don't like to the tactic of PMing people and trying to round up as many votes as you can get, rather just have more people vote, but thank you.
