Welcome to the IHoP
Well trying to fit that much port area with that tuning is going to make very very port lengths.

Welcome to the IHoP
Is that 4.8cubes gross or net.

Welcome to the IHoP
Im not sure by how much, that would only apply if they are flared, helps with less turbulence, less noise, ability to use less area, I believe.

Can I guess, kevin said it was okay?

Welcome to the IHoP
Enclosure volume is way too small for that much cone area.

Port Diameter: 6in Number of Ports: 7 Port Length Each: 87.32in Port Area Total: 197.92in^2 Tuning: 35hz Enclosure Volume: 4.8ft^3

Welcome to the IHoP
You need to model your drivers and enclosure in winisd and adjust port area while checking the vent mach. 200in^2 sounds like way more thenyou need, otherwise your port lengths are absurd.

Welcome to the IHoP
16 4" aeros would be 201in^2 on port area. Use 6" aeros or get some of adrians

Welcome to the IHoP
Ask away.... I need to know how long of aeroports i need the quantity to achieve a 35hz tuning along with 210 in^2 of port ( i know i can use less but i'm not sure how much less) I'll probably just be using 4" ports from Madisound oh and how much they would displace from the total airspace in the box. Need enclosure volume. Are the ports flared? Why not 6" psp?

That's where I live.

2 12" dd 1500's vs 1 12" xcon in khaotic enclosure
More cone area, nice big box, likely to get louder, but may not sound as good, or the box might be shit.

Best amp or amps to push to BTL 15's
I would definitely hit up Steve, those sundown 3000d sell like hot cakes, plus its a great deal. I actually just sold him one, I powered two xcons and it was nuts.

- Which FI sub(s) should I get?
Go with as much cone area as you can fit, of course with the appropriate enclosure volume.- Welcome to the IHoP
The chat filters, haven't seen the board do it for a long time.- Welcome to the IHoP
ROFL. Especially to replace the wheel with 1970. Seriously lol. Autozone must have had a sale.- A little flex from a 6th order bandpass
Very very very very very impressive. Efficiency for the win!- SteveMead
Always good to have another.- SteveMead
This has been the second or third transaction I've had with Steve Mead in the last few years. Traded amps and cash. Amp is in perfect condition, got it very fast. Responded quickly to PMs, no hassles, no headaches, nothing to worry about. Thanks again, Stefan- Components
Whatever you decide, be sure to post a review. There are plenty of other drivers out there, but it becomes tricky with a small budget, have fun deciding hehe.- Welcome to the IHoP
I sneak it in from time to time.- Components
Best advice really. Everyone has different tastes for their front stage. Comparing IA's subwoofers to the Maximos is like comparing apples to oranges, dontcha think? Since these speakers aren't that much money, you could always try a set, sell used, take a little loss, and try the others. I'd rather do that and lose a little bit of cash but end up with what sounds better to me. See what local shops carry, ask if they have any of the products installed in their personal rides so you could get a demo. Listening to the wall is better then nothing. - Which FI sub(s) should I get?
