Oh boy, let me run out and get some!!Was your trip just to get away?? Sounded like you enjoyed yourself. Pretty much, just to get out and see something different. Saw a friend who just moved up there, we drank beer walking down the streets, ran into a cop, couldn't care less, just people watching at one in the morning, thoroughly enjoyed it. Took a ferry around the golden gate, saw a improv show, good vacation. Skars are definitely teh best. If you didn't run such shitty drivers, you'd know this. Got any other classes besides those 3? I've got Anatomy, Microbiology, Geology and Speech this semester. California is always fun to visit, not so much when you live there. Just three, once second semester rolls around I'll probably add a few classes, just want to get situated first. Driving in SF makes everywhere else easy as hell (for the most part).

It's official, SKARS ARE THE BEST SHIT EVER. /end of story. Well, had writing and art history today, LOL. Art lasted 15 minutes and we were let out early. Calc tomorrow San Fran was awesome, completely different lifestyle, seems like it would be awesome to live there a few years then I'd get sick and tired of not being able to go out and do shit like dirt biking, I guess that's all I'd miss really.
  3. Always love when you post your work here Jon.

Just finished writing. Teacher relates EVERYTHING to the bible. That if something is true, its easy to explain, otherwise its a lie... Woot!
  5. I haven't heard it in a while, but Massive Attack has a song called "I Against I". It starts off with a bassline, then twenty seconds or so into it, it jumps up to another. I don't remember it being very low though.

Another plasma believer! People always dog on plasma but I really don't know TV I've like better than Travis' (Tmax98) plasma TV People always dog on what they don't have. Exactly the reason why most advice sucks on car audio websites Perfect example, guy comparing skars to icons, had to pm me and say "FUCK YOU AND YOUR SHITTY ICONS". LOL. I start college today... Well community college for gen eds. What is with the Skar boner. They are cheap drivers, whoop de fucking doo! Fuck if I know, something about the logo? I think perhaps skar has used that big malibu build as a platform for "SKAR = LOUD", and people don't see that a shit load of cone area no matter the driver = pretty fucking loud. Or I've seen a few people here and there that claim their skar reps, like all of a sudden their hot shit ROFL And that install is a huge fart cannon But they defied the laws of physics and math remember? Therefore it actually sounds quite amazing in terms of SQ & SPL. It's very magical.

HA! Community college... *hides CC textbooks* move along, nothing to see here To me it's all the same in the end, only cheaper. right right! CC (the first time around) was nothing more than 2 years of math, science, social studies, and English that I already learned in high school. That and a basic computer skills class I almost literally slept through. That's what I'm expecting, just paying less at cc then university, plus it'll give me some time to figure out what the hell I want to do.
  8. I don't think you used enough screws in the enclosure Hows the subwoofer sound? I read kove motor, is the soft parts focal? Mb quart amp looks nice.

Always Never Foobar2000, which I have hotkeys mapped to since my keyboard has so many buttons Seriously? Are you a woman? Start multi-tasking for god's sake. Like I said, if I had actual work do and not just surfing blogs and watching cat videos I would, but such is life Definition of The Internet.

I just have a samsung 27" lcd and it works pretty well, nothing too fancy. May use the previous 22" for extra workspace. hmmm. Got the volvo back, sunroof fixed, new engine mounts, timing belt, tensioner, water pump seals, strut plates, and transmission flush. Feel safer taking it for a road trip

  14. And hows the voltage at idle? I would see if DC Power has anything made for your car, likely have to wait a few weeks to get it, but remember your ordering a custom product, you'll absolutely love it.

^Yeah, I'll try to explain to my understanding, since Sean doesn't go into detail unless asked. Certainly see capacitors used on positive wire in between amplifier/headunit to speaker terminal, but in this case your using a very large capacitor for a different intended application. Using a capacitor inline to an amplifier to help stabilize / stiffen the electrical supply is almost always bad. They don't store enough power to actually help, certainly don't keep up with the amps power draw, and since they don't store enough power they are constantly discharging and recharging, thus sucking more amperage from your battery / alt. Just adding another item that draws power. Adding a battery is a better idea, even if its small. Make sure its a sealed agm type, otherwise it'll leak poisonous gases in the cabin. Hope this makes sense, typing on a mobile is a trick sometimes
  16. F that man. The roof can stay as is. I sure as hecks am not ripping the headliner off! Balls to that!!!! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, mine's sitting in my room LOL.
  17. You are right, a little 1/32" gap can flow water like crazy. I sealed it up from the inside and will retest tomorrow. This gives me a reason to deaden the cabin floor now That should'nt take too long Yeah I was thinking of deadening my roof now. Cabin floor isn't bad, just lay down a few sheets of mlv.
  18. That's pretty wild that that much water could flow through that. Glad you found the culprit. My sunroof recently broke and I pulled it out to check everything out, couldn't find anything wrong. Stuck it back in the car and dropped it off at the local volvo shop. I never reconnected the drain hoses since I figured they were going to pull it right back out. It rained over night and in the morning my leather seats had warped and have a billion creases in them now... So that makes two of us in terms of water in the cabin.
  19. Is there a sunroof? Does the sunroof drain tubes run anywhere near there?

Yeah the site doesn't list it, just saw a pamphlet at the dealership, not sure which year. Supposedly had slightly larger engine

You must be smiling. I hate torque steer though. If you can, try and find a Speed3 to test drive. That thing will rip the wheel out of your hand. I loved driving that though. I preferred the C30 though as it was so damn quiet in that thing. I wish they made one in AWD and a little longer WB. The torque steer in our c30 was a little surprise at first, but after a few days don't notice it much. New c30 r looks awesome, 300 some hp.

Mysql could probably handle it better then excel, and you can run it locally on the computer but access it on any other comp on the network.

Diesels don't have a big rpm range like gas engines, so you can't say that because it ran out of juice at 4k, 4k is probably near red line lol. Our diesel pick up would fucking haul at 1500, 2000rpm. I would think all diesel vehicles are designed to deal with the additional weight, I don't see how they couldn't be...
