  1. Oh shit, his crazy wall addon worked Awesome, I gotta run up to phx some weekend and get a demo.
  2. I got a shitload of brown carpeting from our new house
  3. Yeah anything around there will be good. Get what you can afford. Personally id rather have a beefy alt and possibly less batteries.
  4. lol hell yeah man. Family helped me out a good bit with the purchase of the truck. I have to pay every penny for the system though Sounds reasonable
  5. That would be cool if they could add some more shows in AZ to the schedule.
  6. Looks nice. Luck little bastard
  7. Click, Click, show up at the door in a week
  8. Owner of the system is banned for trying to sell skars products on ssa forum, undercutting ssa all together. Has nothing to do with the debate or his build log. But I agree with you. So box designers and M5, have the floor. I'm out.
  9. I see what there saying. And I want to see Sean's response, and their response to his questions. I think it all comes down to: How did the box builders come up with the measurements, volumes, and tuning. And why? And what did they change / do to make it work better for the specific vehicle. M5 wants to know what was their reasoning for their math on the enclosure. And they want to know how he can say it will have a very non linear response when he hasn't heard it, or doesn't know the vehicles cabin characteristics. And M5 would want to know what they did with their knowledge of the cabin characteristics, and how they used it to make the enclosure. I'm I right everyone? Sound fair?
  10. Damn! You could do a real big build right there, and I know this guy that does boxes
  11. Welding wire from weldingsupply.com is good, it's generally cheaper then wire labeled for car audio, but it's all the same. Even all copper strands, not cca.
  12. Agreed. Florida does have a reputation, but it doesn't apply to everyone. Can't fall for stereotypes. Black people like fried chicken. Or that Jews are cheap. Muslims are terrorists. Mexicans are lazy. And america's biggest threat is a mexican gay muslim grizzly bear. What rep do we have? That we WIN!! But really, I have never heard of this "reputation". I'm not saying this, nor do I agree, but I've been on numerous forums, ca, c aco, termpro, floridaspl, etc, and from time to time you see similar stuffin regards to being loud as fuck, but not necessarily sql. For instance, a shit load of bullet super tweeters, yes very fucking loud, sound good? ehh. Either way, you can't judge a book by it's cover, AND I don't.

And beef jerky and cold water.

That paid for a lot of stuff Nice work. Yeap, and the maintenance was due 86k miles. Glad it'll be out of the way. Hardest part was just prepping, removing base boards, carpet strips, laying mat. Laying and cutting the floor was a breeze.

  16. There is no doubt that they are an extremely busy company, and often times can't answer phones, or emails very quickly. But their products really speak for themselves. I love my xp alt!
  17. Sounds pretty normal to me, but it's hard giving advice when I can't actually give a listen and touch the drivers my self. I live in Tucson and it gets just as hot As long as you don't smell any coil, see any smoke, hear any clipping distortion, and cone and dustcap aren't hot, you should be fine.
  18. Welcome I see your not messing around
  19. 92.4 degrees? Touch the dustcap / cone, if it's very warm, I'd pull the drivers out and inspect coils, lower gain some. I pounded on my BL all day long, big enclosure, used a saz1500d, dustcap was barely warm.
  20. why N2s? N3's have too much motor and it makes the freqency response unbalanced. You could play one song and it'll be loud as shit and with a different song (or bass note) it won't be as loud. The N2 is designed more for music, while the N3 was designed to be just loud as fuck. The N3 would be like driving a drag racer to work. It'll go fast yeah, but it won't turn, will ride horrible, and eat up gas. Sure you have a faster car than the dude with the regular Mustang GT but...cmon now. The N2 is what you want if you wanna listen to music with it. The N3 won't sound as good. If i get the sundown 3500d and n2 how many amps should my alternator push out? dual batteries right? At least 200amps. Add a battery, watch voltage, decide if second battery is needed.

Almost done with spring break, guess what I did during the whole break? laid laminate flooring! but it paid for a new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and seals for the volvo

This is so gay. Can't everyone just shut the fuck up already. Move on, everyone.
