Any way, you can wire the 2500d down to 2ohms, just be easy on the gain, look for signs of stress, feel dustcap / cone for heat, any smell of coil, etc. And when I say wire down to 2ohms and throw an ssd on it, I mean setting the gain correctly for the scenario, I am NOT saying "yeah the ssd will take 1200watts no problem, do it man!" It really sounds like you need to switch drivers and move up to a bl or btl. Wouldn't want to cook the ssd when trying to get a little more output...

Sell and switch to zcons or n2s That is if the wait is going to be a year...

Actually no, he is misleading noobs. Luckily the install quality will have them questioning it anyways. His builds are unconventional, and almost always using the wrong equipment for the job, but they sure are fun to watch Just gotta take it for what it is, if someone can't look through his pictures and really question whether this is being done correctly, then it's their fault if they follow in his footsteps.

They'll take a fair amount more then 1200 if done right, and I'm not talking about just burps. Hehe but thats not for the faint of heart Ive done burps on my BL with my old saz-3000d at .5 ohms... But that was a little insane Yeah that's a little diff haha, for burps everything changes since it's such a short amount of time.
