difference in 2 12's vs 1
Every situation is different, but most of the time, if installed correctly, more cone area = more output. Not always, but the majority of the time... If I were in your shoes, I'd save some bucks and buy another bl to match yours and run amp at 2ohms, or find someone who wants to trade d1 for d2, trade, and get another d1 and wire to 1ohm.

Will this box work well with Q 12?
Don't listen to the above comments, you do not need a bigger amplifier. If you find yourself wanting more output, then you could certainly upgrade to a bigger amp, but just because they are rated for 1000watts does not mean you need a 1000watt amp. Can't see the exact enclosure on the site unless you tell us what vehicle and year it is.

Sub Blown
And vice versa for me, well I didn't use a dmm, but gain needed to be set around 3/4 on my saz1500d.

Sub Blown
Bottoming out would tear spiders, tinsel leads, etc.
-
Sub Blown
Poorly set ssf would allow bottoming out, don't see how that would cook the coil.

Look what DC Power sent me
x2 on belt slip, even if it didn't squeal. When I installed my dc alt I had a little slip, but wasn't worrying about it until I got all the electrical wired up for the alt. Once I was done wiring up the harness, I'd start it up, and voltage was awful, checked all my connections and made sure harness was getting power, etc. Finally I tightened up the tensioner and fixed the slipping, and boom 15v+ And I'll add, running a saz1500d at full tilt with no additional batteries, voltage would be steady 14.5v+, but with the occasional fast dips to 13 then back up, that is normal, so don't freak out if your lcd meter goes to 13s for a split second and then back up to 14s

Look what DC Power sent me
You beat me to it while I was sleeping Sure thing Robbie, thank you I wasn't watching engine RPM. But I will take note. I was planning on running a 1/0 ground from the alternator directly to the battery but I only have one 1/0 lug laying around. More 1/0 lugs are on order. Do you think this will help any or would I be wasting money? I am typing you an email now Kyle. Where would you connect this wire to? Between alt case and steel bolt when mounted to engine? I would think the ground would be sufficient, considering the case itself is the ground, when it's bolted in, that's a pretty big piece of conductive metal it's bolted to.

Winrar. ^This. Install winrar. Right click on decaf file. click on "Extract Files" then click ok. There should now be a folder named after the decaf file, containing everything extracted. Hope that helps.

Hey im new I need help With FI BTL
Let me ask you this. Is your car's electrical stock? stock starting battery? stock alternator? Depending on the amp you choose, your going to need additional batteries and or an upgraded alternator, which is costly. I know theres a used saz1500d in the F/S section on here, I believe for 250shipped. This and say a xs power 3100 battery would do the trick. So basically give us a budget for your amp, and any additional electrical upgrades. Can't skimp on the electrical, so may be better off going with less power and a bl for your budget. Or a btl now and upgrade amps and electrical down the road.

For people waiting for quotes. (Pics of new location!!!
Andrew, I would like to know when my enclosure will be shipping. I also sent you a pm regarding some speaker rings, if this is something you can whip out and ship same day with enclosure, please do so and add to the bill, if not don't worry about it. I'm ready to pay you the remaining balance and get this finished up, this has gone on waaay too long. Please reply or pm. Thank you.

Lowest inductance 18's?
Perhaps you should enlarge the enclosure, cut the roof, have some wood panels go up a few feet, should gain some extra cubes. I don't know, just a thought.

Ah, yeah those things aren't very accurate, or at least the level they consider clipping is so mi nute & inaudible that it should be acceptable...

Sundown Audio Rebuild - Blowthru to WALKTHRU!!!!!
Yeah its annoying lol XD I guess I asked for it tho. lol Yeah, nature of the beast, at least it's a good thing LOL its a very good thing Hopefully your center console housing will stop it from shutting off. I know there's these bolts that have rubber in the center, so what ever you screw it down to, the vibration is some what isolated. May help... I'll have to look on Mccar master or something to find'm Or you could take out a few drivers and ship'm my way, whichever way works best for you.
