    peak at 30hz
  2. His status: "got my amp working, damn speaker wire," So something to do with his wiring?
  3. It makes me smile to click on manufacturers and see Sundown Audio listed

Hopefully it'll be something simple, easy fix. *crosses fingers*
  5. 18's can play the same notes as 15's or 12's or 8's, etc...

Hope you guys get it on the meter today without any problems

sweet, Is this in a pickup with a shell?
  8. I highly doubt it was SonicElectronix's fault for your driver taking a dump. I had the exact same driver, ordered from the exact same place and I beat the hell out of it for quite a while and it never had any problems, but I did have the ssf and gain set accordingly...
  9. Bruteforcing is a joke, but as your stated about the graphics card, that's definitely a big helper. A lot of programs can now take advantage of fast gfx cards using cuda software and are able to mathematically crack stuff so much faster then a cpu could. For about five years now I have not only collected thousands of wordlists with permutations, but i've created an app that searches google and splits the results up into words, it didn't come into play here, but i've used it to crack some of the craziest passwords. Most of the time i'm dealing with md5... As for your word document, there was a software that grabbed the encryption code from the doc and send it to their server, then they would reply back and show you a small portion of the doc for free, if you wanted to see more then you had to buy their software, I ran wireshark in the background, saw where they were sending the hash, and only had to change one line in the url submitted to get full results back. It looked something like xxx.com/host.pl?result=2&key=lalsalsasalaslalal to xxx.com/host.pl?result=1&key=lalsalsasalaslalal any how, since I don't compete and it was merely fun and games for me I no longer have the information on my computer and no one benefited from me
  10. You weren't the only one to do it. I just curious what was in, no actual need for it lol

Can't wait video, crazy ass everything!
  12. i havent changed the wiring at all so yeah it was wired in series on the other amp too if its in series, and its a single driver dual 1ohm then its going to put a 2ohm load on your amp, which is fine
  13. The first time around was to have some boom on the cheap. This time around to be loud and different. Well your on the right path When your done, I'm curious how putting different objects in the trunk will effect sq and spl. I guess it'll just make the enclosure smaller, just wonder how noticeable it'd be
  14. YOUR AMPS BROKEN, IT DOESNT WORK. seriously if you want an answer to your problem then you need to give us something to work with. Saying it won't put power to the driver is utterly useless. Answer Alton's questions and we'll get you on the right path
  15. I think some people forget it's a business and it's beneficial for a business to sell their products and generate an income...
  16. This is simple, a lot of people hear about Fi audio and the notorious BTL and they jump on it. Don't get me wrong it's an awesome driver, but a lot of people buy it but don't really know what there doing. They get this beastly driver, and turn the gain up on the amp so it's louder, they most likely don't set the subsonic filter correctly, so it's playing below the tuned frequency and it's unloading like crazy, etc. This goes for all drivers, but I believe Fi is very well known for having awesome loud drivers, more or less then other companies. That's my two cents.
  17. Give us some dimensions so we know what volume, depth you have to work with You may be able to stick a couple sa8s under there, just maybe
  18. I like the leather, looking good. What made you decide to do IB? for the sq? just something different then everyone else?
  19. I hate it when people consider this "selling out", simply ignorant. Congratulations Jacob, glad to see sundown audio starting to get some more attention that it rightfully deserves!
  20. @Duran was skeptical about that. @teampapi glad a simple swap out improved sq

    Post a video!
  22. While this is true, it also allows for EMI/RFI introduction. Such noise can sound like shit. That is why you see such high pre-out voltages, they actually lower the noise floor. Back in the day with 1/2 volt preouts we had tons of noise issues. That is why old timers swear you have to run the RCAs up the opposite side of the car as your power and remotes. I still cringe when I bundle my RCAs and power wires nowadays... but I know if I do that and have noise introduction I need to fix my ground... Prevents you from melting your terminals Good point, the rcas we have now, do they have better shielding then the old ones? I ran my rcas on the opposite side of power so I've never had any noise issues and can't say that moving it to the power side will/will not introduce any noise in my case.
  23. As long as it's matched correctly and not clipping then it doesn't matter if the gain is set 1/10 or 9/10
  24. 60v is way too high, if your doing it by a dmm... then it should be around 38v sqrt(1ohmX1500) Try 38v and see how that sounds, may have to adjust it more or less.
  25. That box is awesome all on it's own! I can already feel the bass Good Job as always Andrew
