  1. play test tones until you can recreate it cutting out?
  2. I like your choice of words That's always good to hear though that a company is serious about helping their customers and not screwing them over.
  3. yeah, but that's a drastic way of fixing the problem (especially if it's a simple one.), but if you can't fix it and have the cash than selling it and getting a sundown would work
  4. 63volts sounds about right for how much power your running. Whats your electrical consist of? Oh and when the bass cuts off does the amp's light go off or change color at all?
  5. then something is up with your amp if it cuts out for that long. How did you set your gains?
  6. weird issue, not sure what to check exactly... I don't know how you would even check the amp to see if there's a problem with it. I've read that certain class amps work better for subs, but I don't believe it would be enough for the ear to catch...
  7. When you say it quickly drops off, what do you mean? Clipping will only distort the output and eventually fry your driver
  8. What amp do you have? Perhaps you need a bigger amp to provide more clean power...
  9. I don't think an outlet would have enough power to even push the driver, its a bose cmon
  10. Yea when I took it out of the box it had no surround at all lol
  11. So i'm over at my grandparents house throwing junk away and I find these Bose omnivector enclosure. Mind you these are about 20 years old. So I took a driver out and hooked it up to my amp Rated for 25-75watts, I gave it 300 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT6KopmNUJ0
  12. How far are you into building the box? Would incriminator LI's fit? I ordered the sa-12's but their on backorder and im contemplating ordering the LI's instead. So would the box work with the LI's? If not then i'll just stick with the SA's and wait. Thanks

admins please close this thread as it has been fixed! Thanks guys
  15. Can't wait to see, I'm at school and they're blocking the images... I got around the firewall... woot! the box is looking awesome. Can't wait, thanks man

It says "There are not 2 of Sundown Audio SA-12 in stock. Please choose a different quantity. " when I try to pick D4 and add to cart.
  17. Whats a rough idea when the sa-12 dual 4 ohms will be available for purchase? thanks I've been getting antsy for these drivers and I finally have the funds for them
  18. haha, that's too funny
  19. they will be killer 8" drivers. But if space isn't an issue and you want more bass than go bigger
  20. My interpretation is that the sa-8's will be amazing drivers for being 8". So if you don't have the room for the sa-12's than you could get some sa-8's and still have an awesome setup, but if space is not an issue than get the sa-12's. When you say sound better, what are you referring to? SQ, SPL? What are your goals? How much power do you have?
  21. You absolutely never stop to amaze me. <3
  22. it's certainly been done before, I'm not sure how to attach and detach it though. Perhaps Jacob will see this and post how he did his for the sa-8 testing
  23. How long should this take to build? Just an idea would be nice. thanks
