Yea they have some 200 subs on backorder due to a customs issue. They will adress this as soon as they can. From what I have seen they are very quick to respond to issues, when time is allowing of course.

Dont know what you are looking for in terms of final color etc. but I have seen a couple people on here use Herculiner. That stuff seems pretty chip/flake resitant. Like I said I dont know if you are going for a flashy color or you are just trying to coat the MDF in something.

I just discovered this today. Wow....I am hooked. This stuff plays some good bass notes. Anyone on here listen to it? If so can you suggest some stuff for me to listen to. Knowing Chop he has already calculated for it, actually you dont do any calculations (the subs displacement is zero, so the only displacement you account for is port and bracing if any when mounting sub inverted). I hope you were kidding, displacement of a sub isn't zero, it depends on the sub. The displacement of this sub is probably around 0.23 cu ft or even more. Nice build, i like the box with rounded edges. And i like the sub, real beefy. If you could read I was explaining about the displacement for this install since it is INVERTED, next time read buddy. Sundown And Alpine For The Cheapz - SSA Car Audio Forum There. $115 shipped. Have to buy an ipod cord for alpines but i think the cord is only like 10 or 15 bucks at most. You can do what I did and run the wire into the glovebox so no one sees you have an iPod hooked up to your HU. Says on details for this head unit that it works with iPhone too so you are all set.

I think that a guy on here has an Alpine for sale that has iPod compatiblity. BNIB. Let me look quick and see if I can find it. I think he wanted 100 shipped. I love my Alpine with Ipod controls.

X2. This country is media fueled. Think back to Y2K. The tv said we were all going to be without power, electricity, water, food...etc and boy did we all get the wool pulled over our eyes.....Everyone stocked up on food and bottled water etc and none of it was necessary. The media is used as a tool that takes Americans mind off of a bad situation and refocus it on something else. Even a more recent example is the swine flu "pandemic". Yes it was important to wash your hands and being careful around people who were sick but the media took it to the extreme. STAY INSIDE! LOCK YOUR DOORS!.... The media is just there to "soften" the blow of what is really going on around us. People need to take their blinders off and really start looking at what is going on. Sorry if I just got all 60-70's radical on you but needed to clear my mind of this.
