  1. I like the Cadence too. The Mb quart dsc is cheap and has good reviews. But there are dozens of amps on the martket. Maybe you can have a Sundown for that budget. Try the ssa store or db-r.com(used ones). Good luck.
  2. Do you think 2 optimas will be enough ? Maybe you still have your stock battery? No HO alternator ? Nice build. I'd love to have this kind of space in my car! Keep posting pictures! Thanks.
  3. The 125.2 is a very good match for your comp set. You don't need rear speakers at all. For the sub, you can use a 125.2 bridged. But you can use a 1000saz at 4 ohms or 2 ohms(300 or 600 watts) so you can add another sub later.
  4. Don't do the 2 Q sealed. Just my 2cts. You seem to want more low. Why did you get a btl ? I don't know if it is the best choice for your goal. Maybe you should try the famous ssa xcon ?
  5. I need some white ones for my box builder. His new box is fantastic for his 15" xcon. With only one sub playing, he made some people jumped out of the car : insane bass. One of the "jumpers" run a 15" spl Pioneer sub on an AP 3000 !!! I should have take a vid !!! The car is all Sundown, we need to rep for ssa! We need some flyers too! I will send you an e mail.
  6. I agree. Sub up and port up was not loud enough for me in my hatchback car. I feel like I have more output with the xcon firing back, and I have a sealed box now!!! But there are some unwanted rattles now!
  7. I think the 9887 has the imprint "inside", so you don't need to buy it separately. The prs needs some accessories to run Ipod or usb disk. I need the cd ub 100 (or something like that!) to have a usb input. It's 150 euros(180 $) at my local audio shop, and 42$ on ebay !
  8. So there is 3% chances left for you to choose other subs ! Take a look around here. The hdc are loud and "cheap", but maybe you can find something better. One good 18" can be loud enough for you, or even louder than 2 hdc's.
  9. The 750 will be fine for your sub. But it is rated for 1000 watts in sealed boxes. You can give him 1000-1200 w easily. If you run it in a ported box, Kicker tells you to run 750 watts.
  10. These are impressive numbers. The box is smaller than the one for the 18's, but still huge ! Nice install !
  11. Do that ! Look at their forum here, they both have their prices listed. They really know what they're doing, not like your shop !! They make fantastic enclosures!!!
  12. Why don't you build your clamshell or blowthrough with your type R's ? If you want to test your skills, do the build, with plenty of pics ( ). You can always change the subs later, with Sundown sa for ex. It is the cheapest solution. If you sell the bl's you will have some big money left !!!
  13. Good good I will take a look at your site.
  14. I have an Icon and an Xcon, both 15". They are freat woofers. They are loud as... And they're really musical subs. But the xcon is really more powerful for the same watts. It is worth the $100. If you have the money, go for it. You can run the xcon in a sealed box and be happy with it! I have a topic about it (from ported to sealed). And one about both subs (from Icon to Xcon). Good luck.
