Was my first and only recone. I didnt think about usring the gasket maybe next time but was easy just put some weight on it and let it rest on the basket. Im with sam was worried about getting it right. Been beating on it since last summer with no problems. It was a 04 reaudio xxx 15 I reconed to a 10 with fi parts

Yes a B i used weight to get surround down to basket then clamp it

im sure they only do recones like once a week or something i ordered mine on the first and received mine today thanks fi! and dont go so much off of ups site and fi site, was on the way before ups updated there site and fi was still saying processing

haha thanks....are you guys looking for more of an 18 or a 24 db octave? i was hoping someone could suggest a external filter or something to that extent. by the way scott, thanks alot, the sub looks great....my friends shit bricks when they saw the design. my audiocontrol dqx has one
