I currently have a fi btl 15 fully loaded and i planed on using knu konceptz 8 gauge speaker wire but when i tried to wire the sub up the wires were too big haha...so is there anyway i can make the wires fit ive looked at banana clips and wire reducers but i dont know what to use and if it will distort or loose power

It depends on the wire;s amperage capacity, depends on what that Autotek will pull but I would do 2 positive runs of 1/0 power wire if you can. Thanks will do. Im also looking into mounting the sub with 4claw t-nuts...what size bolts and t nuts should i get i'm not sure on the sizes of the mounting holes so that's why i'm asking
  3. Sorry i must have stated it wrong what i was trying to say is should i run two 1/0 POWER wires or will 1 be sufficient enough.

Im looking to run a extra battery (XS Power D3100) to the back of my truck. Then run a Autotek 4000.1 from it. Should i run 2 1/0 cables from the starter battery to D3100 battery or will 1 be enough to fully support everything.

Not an expert on it but sanding it with 120-150 grit then use a solvent-based primer must be solvent based cant be water based otherwise it will cause the board to swell up, then paint should be the best way to do it .
  7. Perfect timing right as i start looking for a new amp. Can't wait for pre-sales.
  8. Looks good thanks i meant to say 4.75 each but my brain was not working haha. Will show a build log next week when i start building it.
  9. I would rather have the depth cut down a little the rest dont matter, im lookin at sub and port both up but i still want it to be 9.5 (4.25 each chamber) NET cubic foot after all displacements. Thanks
  10. Yea i know i can cut it down i was just giving the max dimensions. Its going in a Silverado ext. cab.
  11. Max Dimensions are height 27" depth 22" and width 60"
  12. Lookin at 2 220 amp alt., big 3 uprgrade with 1/0 and two xs power d3100 batteries.
  13. I'm looking at building a custom box for my 2 fully loaded fi btl 15s and need some help with the dimensioning. Im looking at have a 9.5 net cubic foot box tuned to 32-34hz with a solid wall brace in the middle separating the two subs. For power im looking at either 2 rf t2500-1bds, 2 sundown audio saz 3000ds, or a autotek mean machine 4000.1. Does this seem like a good setup. Im looking at putting it into a chevy silverado ext. cab of course with all of the electrical upgrades also. Thanks for any help
