after im done with it im going to put it in the wifes car so its not going to waste. 1 of those subs i listed have to be ok atleast lol they cant suck that bad and i can make a nice ported box to help it out

junk the sealed box and go ported with thekicker 1500.1 and u should be good

Is there really no balance between the 2? Am I just on some misguided quest? But enough about that lol. I want to be able to listen to a variety of music, which I'm guessing is a SQ build. The subs I currently have sound decent across all types of music but sometimes I feel it lacks a little in the output department when I listen to bass heavy music (rap, techno). Is it too much to ask for a single larger sub that still sounds good with a little more output than I get with my two 10's? port the tens u have now they should get way louder ported and u can save your cash up into u can get bigger amp and sub

get 2 kicker l7s u can find them on ebay for around 100-150 each. get about 800watts to each sub or more and u should be good with the right box
