Box tuning...
You'll be changing the port area so it will affect tuning slightly.

low notes send amp into protect
If that's true, then you shouldn't tune low, IMO.

1995 Chevy Suburban
Yeah, that was my whole plan, I can sand and putty anything to perfection. It's a lot easier than learning to measure, I mean, I'm not Stephen Hawking.Truck was a good deal, lucky for me some poor guy died and his wife traded the truck in for a new Hyundai. The Hyundai store took it to an auction where I got it, normally when I get a deal like that I never keep it but I had been looking for a clean 3/4 ton big block TBI truck for quite some time. It's good to have around but I hate to keep it considering it's a $4000 truck around here. Also, I'll most likely be ordering a sub amp this week, looks like the Alpine MRP-M2000 wins. Once I get a little further along I'll post some better looking pictures. he may be able to measure but he can't hold the saw yeah that truck was a steal for $1600 never heard of any 'whistling' problems with the wires in the port I concluded that I must never cut wood again after being up for 24+ hours.

Liquid Nail or Wood Glue?
depends, in all honesty, one tiny air leak isn't going to make any audible difference. Let alone several tiny air leaks. None of that is audible. I strongly disagree. Have you ever even heard a leaky sealed enclosure? Yes, but we're not talking about a sealed enclosure are we? Also, Richard Clark must be a moron then.

Yeah just did that as a temp setup. In time there will be studs through the box to connect them.

Liquid Nail or Wood Glue?
Liquid nail isn't going to penetrate into the wood like wood glue does.

and yes, some of the cuts are off on the double baffle. That's what happens when the safety glasses you're using are blurry and full of shit. Today was better with my nice glasses.

1995 Chevy Suburban
Here's somewhat complete. Just set the subs in to see how it looks for the pic. Still have a few screws and such to finish, and probably some paint in the port.

Re-Cone didn't work out, need some help
Sounds like the surfaces were not clean. Glue needs a clean surface and a slight abrasion to said surface to hold well.

Need Help pulling out reciever
Might try hitting up any local place that does car audio installation. A lot of those guys have them on hand and would most likely come out and pull it for you for nothing.

Super blues, audio pipe, 93 ford festiva...yes.
I've been drunk a lot lately. Soon enough I'll go out and get a bunch of measurements so I can plug it in and design the wall and other aspects.

18v on a hifonics brutus??
X2 John, I know where your coming from but this does not concern me. Here you must back up your posts, not lurk in, call someone a dumbass then leave the thread. This is NOT CA.com. Not calling him a dumbass, just that he should read up a bit to understand how electricity works. Increase voltage at a steady current, and your wattage will increase (obv.) However, I am to believe this power supply he's using will not hold that current rating as voltage is increased. Besides, I wouldn't even try to use that PSU on any amplifier with any decent amount of output... Just get a car battery if you want to do that, or a few.

You obviously do not understand how electricity works then.

Amp Set up Help
yeah to go off of that. turn it all the way UP then turn your volume knob to your max listening level. slowly turn your filter down until you reach the max you want your sub to move(maybe a bit less). that should do you good. yessir

Another Toyota mishap... at my apartment complex
How exactly does one fix a drive-by-wire vehicle themselves when it's a computer control related issue?

In the market for a Lift Kit or Air Ride.
Plan on spending a good chunk of money. You're looking at a lot of shit to lift it to fit that big of a wheel. Personally I don't understand the fad, but one will do what one wants to do. Nevermind the fact that I assume this is a 4.3 truck with stock gearing in the rear end. It's gonna be slow as shit too.

18v on a hifonics brutus??
Do you understand how electricity works? That power supply is rated for 58 amps at what voltage? :bangs-head-on-wall:
