  1. Just depends on install really. But the design of the woofers is to shine in the low notes. My setup peaked around 41hz but was tuned at 31hz. But the lows were just nasty.
  2. The SP4 will dig deep and get loud, keep the tuning around 32hz or less and it will shine. Also no need to do more than say 4cuft net unless you just want to.
  3. not sure why half way through my post the text got bigger, lol looks like I yelled the last part
  4. The 07 had 50k on it when we bought it and traded it in with around 60k, I know thats not long. The only thing negatively noticeable is the ultra light steering feel on the highway, it gives the Escalade a top heavy feeling. It is something that you get use to but even with saying that, we liked it enough to move back into one. I just want to find the right deal. My experience with our Cadillac dealer is awesome honestly, the warranty and service program is great. That 07 came with the diamond package that covered to 6 years or 100k miles bumper to bumper. I have taken them all in for minor issues and every time they offer to let me drive off in a loaner if I dont want to wait. The only issue I had fixed with the 07 was a rear outside door handle, they replaced with no questions asked. And thats only because my daughter would jerk on the handle trying to open the door, lol. My SRX has only had the battery replaced. The CTS went in for the rear door gas shock, they ordered it and I drove a 2014 Escalade home and picked it back up the next day. After doing that there was NO difference in our 07 and the 2014 that I kept for a day.
  5. We had a 07 that was great and had no issues. After having the SRX for alittle over a year now she is wanting to get back into a Escalade. I am gonna try to make her wait till the lease is up in another 1.5yr but doubt that will happen. May just go ahead and try to put her in a certified 2010.
  6. Paul Walker dead. RIP

Thanks, the Q is punishing the ole truck, lol
  10. Congrats!!
  11. What a minute guys, if he is going to make a huge purchase like this he should have the original box, instructions, receipt and transferable warranty. No way I would spend that much money without knowing I am making a smart purchase.
  12. I really want to pull the trigger on one of those 80.1s. At 1999.00 that is a good price for some serious power.
  13. Bought to throw the bc2000 on the 15in Q that is in the dually. Shit is loud with only 500 watts, unfortunately the Sundown comps leave ALOT to be desired
  14. I know this is way the fuck out there, but maybe try slowing down... lmao,...... After not having a single ticket or even being pulled over at all in the last 10 years I guess made me take it for granted. My other cars have all had nice radar/laser detectors. I need to grab a Valentine One for my car. I am not generally a fast driver or asshole behind the wheel, just wrong timing and bad luck on my part. The 88 was at 5am, dark outside and the interstate was basically empty. Im just glad I wasnt doing 100+
  15. A used Turbo Cayenne would fit that bill, be had for 30k and be reliable for years. My friend has had 3 of them and never an issue with any of them.
  16. With it as cold as it is out here the car is an animal. lmao..... My DA app says -1700ft below sea level Rolling in 3rd gear at 60 and mash it equals massive wheel spin and corrective steering, hahaha
  17. First mistake was going into an Olive Garden Agreed, I do not like the place at all, my wife and family love it. My meal sucked too..... Also got a ticket for the limo tint.
  18. My luck has been shit lately. Got a 88 in a 55 ticket two weeks ago, then last week got a 60 in a 45, no seatbelt, no registration and had to pass a sobriety test after having several beers at Olive Garden. Damn........................ Just thinking of that 4 hour on line driving class I have to take now

So everything is in and playing. The sd12 sounded great in the over size sealed box I built, but unfortunately it just doesnt leave enough room for me. The box is only 7in deep but was still just too think for me to use after all said and done. So I decided to buy some bucket seats and use my center console box for the 15in Q I have laying around. Probably not many single cabs running around with a 15in it. haha. For those that dont know this box is 3.7cu tuned at 29hz. It sounded awesome in my F250. I only have it running on half of the IA 4 channel so the sub is seeing only around 400-500 watts. Here a few quick pics and I will get better pics up when shes finished and cleaned up. I would throw my BC2000 on the sub but the Sundown components can barely keep up with the sub right now, no sense throwing more power on it. Im really happy with the seats I found, they match very well. I just need to weld some mounting brackets and she is good to go Port is firing behind driver seat leaving me plenty of room to get my seat all the way back
  20. A ported 10 or 12 will likely give you more of the sound you are looking for. Every sealed setup I have done sounded great, but always left me wanted alitttle more. Thats really a tough question for anyone to answer for you

I just need to sand these down and paint them. I will have this complete this week.
  22. Can't see anything on IPad. How does it sound?
  23. swift replied to swift's topic in Build Logs
Yes I am puting them on the a pillar, The bottom kick area is alittle small on the drivers side to get good tweeter placement. Figured that would bring the sound up some anyway. I could do some awesome bolt on door pods for mid bass but I will see how these do. Im hoping they sound as good as the last pods I did.
