  1. I will be starting a build soon for a friend with a single 15in SP4 (trunk). After measuring and seeing what we want I can see it will be easier to do a standard ported firing forward sealed off from the rear. 4ish cuft net tuned low is what we are doing. The 4th order needed 2cuft sealed section and 4-6ctft ported section and it was just too damn big after measuring unless alot of work was put into it.
  2. Ghetto Fabulous
  3. One if my favorites was a old Sansui amp back in the early 90's.
  4. Look for the Crunch GP3000. I had one I paid 350 for used and it was a great amp. They pop up from time to time.
  5. Why not just do a Apple product so it can transfer your music automatically trough ICloud. Oh wait, you don't have a iPhone. Never mind
  6. I have been running this amp since it was new. It is really strong and one of the cleanest 4 channel amps I have heard by far. I will regret selling this I'm sure because the footprint is so small it will fit anywhere. 4-channel car amplifier 150 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (150 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms) 300 watts RMS x 2 in bridged mode (4-ohm stable in bridged mode) variable high- and low-pass filters (30-400 Hz, 12 dB/octave) Class-D amplifier design stackable installation design with front-panel controls quick-connect speaker connectors preamp-level inputs MOSFET power and output stages CEA-2006 compliant fuse rating: 30A x 2 4-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier 10-3/16"W x 2-1/2"H x 8-7/8"D 250.00 shipped, FIRM in the US. No trades
  7. This is pretty sweet, Texas too and your budget http://www.classictruckcentral.com/trucks/2024

  9. To answer your question, that should be fine for 3500 watts given you dont plan on demoing full tilt for long intervals at idle. A second down the road will not be a bad idea though.
  10. I know the road your on. A second would sound great, but........ Then u will want more. Once you start chasing that ghost it doesn't end....... My advise is buy a SP4 to go in the current enclosure which the SP4 would shine in. Run the same amp for now and focus on perfecting your front stage. Or buy a second Q, but it won't end there. Trust me.
  11. what is the sub level at on the head unit?
  12. Till whats turned to the max? The gain on the amp or the knob in the vehicle. The gain on the amp should never be turned up all the way. Anything over half way would start clipping at a volume of 25-26 when that equipment was in my truck. You both have strong amps, somethings not adding up here.
  13. Love mine, best of both worlds IMO. Put it in a good enclosure, power it correctly and you will be very happy.
  14. Should have came to the show on Sunday and got some ideas. I good show will always motivate you to go big, lol.
  15. Man things are looking great! Loving those inputs, cute kid too
  16. If you do 2 subs with that amp I would do either SSA Icons, Xcons or FI SSD's or BL's. All will do what u need
  17. I try to just not think about the money, seems to help. Lmao Steve how long was your wait with Toolmaker?
  18. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
  19. Picked up 4 of the Die Hard Platinum 31's today. Now have 8 batteries total. Should be enough I hope. Those batteries are kick ass!
  20. Thanks for selling me a good amp. lol Cant wait to see how 2 act
  21. Looks like I may jump on this. Can these marine batteries go under hood? http://www.sears.com/automotive-batteries-marine-batteries&DieHard/s-1100201?filter=Brand
  22. 153.0@37hz headrest in Meca yesterday. Did a 131.0 in Park & Pound DB4. That was on 300amp of fusing. Two 1st place trophies, best truck and best install medals as well. I really want to pull a 55 at the headrest though. Now its time to add more batteries, distro blocks, more 2/0, add the second 5500 and also incorporate this DD 2 channel amp I have to run just the tweeters while the 4 channel runs the mids. Also gonna be doing my doors and will probably be running all Rockford Pro Audio gear soon. Crescendo cant seem to keep anything in stock so I will probably switch tweeters too. Will more than likely have 3 6.5's in each door and one or two tweeters in each door. Whichever one disgust M5 the most is what I will probably go with. lmao
  23. Two 12's would be better in a Cavalier. The Crescendo amp is a great amp, I would also get another large battery for the rear.
