  1. Nice setup man, very clean sounds great
  2. Thanks With one door open or just one window down its wicked, both windows down are ok but nothing spectacular. Lots of pressure with one side sealed. My cabin is pretty large. I can lean seats all the way back and they don't reach the subs. It's about 10inches behind b-pillar. I am gonna build panels that extend to the b-pillar though so it forces it forward.
  3. Ok after sealing it off from the rear it is much more intense. It's hitting the lows much much better, I was losing a ton of output behind and around the box. It's honestly painful at this point. I need to meter it but on music it's ridiculous. It feels like a 154 on music but idk
  4. Man thats gonna be wicked. Post some videos when done!
  5. I don't know where it is but it's up in the 50's a good bit, I can't imagine what another amp will be like. It's already Much louder than before
  6. Current pic. I will seal off and start making it pretty this weekend
  7. It's rewired, which didn't change anything but its fine. It is loud as balls. I just have to get use to the peak change and get it metered. For only one amp it's nasty. I will post a small vid next
  8. The sundown will be the stronger amp if I were a betting man
  9. There is nothing SQ about a SSD, its a good daily sub that will sound good in the right install. You will never see a SSD in a SQ car, but you will see them in SPL comps
  10. None really, may peak alittle lower over time once they loosen up but the sub was tested before it was sent to you.
  11. My 10 gauge got here today, tomorrow I'm rewiring and praying I helps
  12. Maybe this is how most walls sound. I have yet to hear a actual wall mash out the lows like my other box except 4th orders. Not to confuse moving air with sound, lol. On video it will look more impressive than the last, but to the ear a 150 before was just so clean and low. Idk, a rewire tomorrow and we shall see. Maybe double the power will get things going. The subs aren't moving too much around tuning. Sounds like a 52 now, maybe more maybe less
  13. That's insane. 159's, shit.... How does it sound?
  14. iPad spell check is owning my posts almost daily here. Haha I have dimensions, internal dimensions are 57.25in W....27in H....24in D You can figure the port is external and is 50.5 wide 5.5 tall and 26.5in depth
  15. The wall with port up high has changes my peak a lot. Seems to peak around 38-40 now. Its loud almost hard to breathe loud but just doesn't seem what I want. I will get it metered but if its gonna be peaking high like this it better be doing a decent number. My sunroof sounds like its gonna break soon. Gonna retire subs with the jumpers on sub instead of on box. Maybe with all that bs wire I did something. Seems too loud to be wrong but I will try anyway. Really it almost sounds as is I'm in the dead zone, like when you stand in the middle of a room versus in the back or corner. Idk Maybe it needs some of that Texas magic Steve can through on it. Lol
  16. Looks fun!!
  17. Will do, thanks I figure I would not have to raise the ssf because I tuned the same, and also reduced port area a hair per sub. I will definitely try it
  18. Amp doesn't get warm at all, voltage does drop more but only to high 12.8-13.0. After listening this morning all the way to work (40 min) they were only slightly warm to the touch. Maybe I was expecting too much, I did only add one sub and no extra power at this point. Getting a lot of windshield flex compared to before and thing rattle at half volume like they did at almost full tilt before. Alittle discouraged about the lows but maybe its just deceiving. Still gonna change out the sub wiring Saturday and see if that changes
  19. Subs are in and playing, but something isn't right. The 40 + notes are very loud but below that is isn't what the 2 were like, lacking lows badly compared to before.. Also subs are getting very warm quickly. I checked twice while wiring them in box but must of fucked up somehow. The outside wiring looks right. I'm not happy right now, why the hell are the subs getting warm so quick? Any ideas? I do have two runs of 16guage going to each coil. Not sure what that would matter. But I guess I will remove the subs and redo it Saturday.
  20. The passenger has plenty of room, maybe if you well over 6ft you wouldn't want to ride a long trip with him, he just wanted to be able to lean the drivers seat all the way back or install a amp on the port wall. I will be shortening his port to see if he like a higher tuning soon
  21. Thanks guys Super easy, 4 bolts and I can do it in 5 mins by myself. My wife come outside I was carrying the door and I felt like Clyde on "Everywhich way but loose" haha Right turn Clyde..... She just take shakes her head at me.. It will look great when I get it all trimmed out and vinyl on it going with the same theme with the padded black vinyl. Really anxious to hear it.
  22. yes sir, I'm curious how the huge port above my head will sound. I see massive hair tricks coming soon, lol
  23. 8 15's? Dayumm..........
