  1. Looks good, the lows are where it's at. I noticed your numbers went from 151@31 to 154@50 at one point. I would much rather have the first set of numbers than even care what one does at 50hz but that's me. Great job. You and your buddy in the pics are both loud as piss
  2. M5 would be my first choice for helping the OP. He doesnt need much info either and can hook this guy up with a hella hard hitting system. great advice!

Will sound so much better lowering the low pass to 80. I think at 100 that notes come through that shouldn't. Grab a good mid bass and you will have a much better overall sound. Good video
  4. Welcome and good luck
  5. Xmax is 33 on these 29 on Q's. I don't want a real narrow band. I have never used a modeling program, wouldn't know where to begin honestly.
  6. Well, actually it ended up at 247.5 in of port. Being tuned low I think this would work well..... If I made the port 45 x 6 across top that would be 270in of port and would bring the tune up to 31....... Either way would work well probably.
  7. Even if I did it now and ran the 5500 at .67 ohms until I could add another 5500 I think it would still be loud as hell. Well, my wife may shoot me if I bought another 5500 right now too. Lol The box could even be built outside the truck and put in when complete. All I would have to do is add a beauty panel when done. This would keep my same false floor, amp location and really not change much other than not being able to look out back window. The back doors and back window are taken a complete beating right now and the wall may actually help that?
  8. Indiana Damn Senchez, could you be any more vague? I will google when and where exactly it is I guess. LOL On another note for fun I did some measurements and quick design and have the perfect space for 3 18's walled off. It would be 19 cubes tuned at 30 after all displacement with 228in of port. 3 subs across bottom port across top. May place my order soon.........
  9. That's absurd!! Lol
  10. Thanks guys!!! I may try to make the drive, where is it?
  11. No subs, so I run em low I'm going to cross them at 100-150hz when I have subs The doors look amazing BTW
  12. Very good and low!
  13. Build looks good, as others said I would change your Lugs and get some cheap wire hammer crimpers and a sledge hammer, even if you had to shed alittle wire to get them in it will not have any current affect at all. Works like a champ. Also be careful on having the mids crossed so low. They even say from 80hz+ on the specs. A good loud sub 60 note may just smoke one. I have mine crossed at 80 but thats just me Great build and look forward to seeing your progress.
  14. bhahahahaha SURE, its the someone else was using my account spill. ROFL
  15. Awesome scores man! You should be very happy with a street box and only one 15. The 12's shocked me too. Very loud
  16. Thank you, I am no different than anyone else really. In my head I think "what if" probably too much. And I really do like this enclosure, I have many many hours in it and if I did change it would be a curiosity thing mainly. Here is a final video showing my setup to complete this build log.
  17. Thanks alot!!! I'm not sure if I want to spend the coin or not. If I do it may be a winter build, lol
  18. This page has pics of my 2/0 and flexibilty for reference
  19. I should have had you check out my 2/0 Coleman Royal last night. It's more flexible than my 1/0 Knu Kolossus and has a thicker jacket to boot. I can get 4/0 for 4.80 per foot. It is stage cable made for concerts and very very nice.
  20. Where are you at in Georgia?
  21. Yeah, got the Mechman 370amp adjustable alt in and its a beast. Voltage is not a issue any more, I could use more battery bank for demoing for long periods but..... Overall had a good time at that meet. My setup is not a SPL metering style setup as I never built it with a number in mind. Although I was very happy that it did a 150.4 at the headrest. Anytime you go to one of those things it makes you want to change shit up. But after talking to many people last night and getting feedback from my setup I think I will just enjoy it awhile. It was nice to meet Shizzon and also meeting Senchez's family. I will post up pics of my new alt and maybe through a new video out. Its alittle louder and when voltage is stable at 14.5 LOL
  22. Big props to Mechman. Issue has been resolved and I actually upgraded to a big 380amp alt with adjustable regulator. I will get it installed tomorrow and hit the Meca show tomorrow. Decide to drive down there and pick it up and to see the place. Nice guys and nice shop and incredible customer service!!!! Pics will be up later tonight it tomorrow
  23. Please show us some pics of all these awesome installs and builds please. I am interested in seeing what kinda work you do.
  24. Why don't you save up, work harder and quit looking for handouts. Why in the world would anyone put their equipment in your car? Just because you want a loud system and compete? LOL I'm guessing you are very young?
  25. Welcome to SSA, Although it sounds as if you are looking for a sponsor? lol If just looking to be in a car audio club, just hang around, dont be d-bag and have clean install and good taste and I'm sure some wouldnt mind a new member.
