  1. It looks like it may have a lift plus spacers. Mine has a 2.5in level kit and it still rubs. A 6in is perfect for 35's, a 4in would get by but you could never really go offroad.
  2. Why not just put your current gear in it? Nice truck and good luck with it.
  3. How about hair tricks with Alice and Chains, lol http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/rooster
  4. Old school tracks added http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/hold-it http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/thrilla http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/voices http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/mrbig
  5. I ordered two FT1 4ohm tweeters and two PWX-8in mids 4ohm. Well the 8's that came are 8ohm.....Should I try and make this work or just send back for the 4 ohms? The amp is a Alpine PDX 4.150 and does rated at 4 or 2 ohms.
  6. Dont even run 3 15's if thats your plan. You will never get the gains matched up perfectly and will possibly end up tearing your shit up and it will be super ghetto. Hell you could be louder too by adding a couple sets of home tower speakers in your back seat but why would you do that? I would suggest a different enclosure and a high quality amp to power them. Two 15 SA's setup right on good power should be very loud. What is the current box tuned to and what kind of port area do you have now?
  7. Vids please, lol. I will get some more up. Thanks
  8. Yeah it has big 27hz peaks. My truck tuned at 30 and peaks at 30 just murders those notes. I will add a few more maybe tonight. I have a whole collection of very good tracks and just signed up on Soundcloud. I was mainly curious of yalls opinion with the layout. Thanks
  9. You could do that if the 3rd is in its own enclosure but it would be completely stupid. No other way to say it.
  10. Make sure it has ARP head studs, egr delet and oil cooler rebuilt. If not look elsewhere. My 07 just went 140k miles before needing it and no one could believe it went that long. There are great trucks and you will love it. But maintenance if very expensive. I spent about 200 every oil change, not to mention the diesel clean you should run every tank.
  11. Can someone that has a lower (32 or under) tuning download and try this song out and tell me how it sounds. It peaks at 27 and 30hz but the chorus has some higher notes. I check all songs to make sure clipping is to a minimal. This is a slow jam and mellow song but potent. It loud so start testing before going full tilt, mainly -5db bass. You can tell its potential with earbuds on I get bored and do this sometimes, took about 1 hour to do this track. I normally try all my songs out in my truck but cant right now. Let me know if it needs tweaked or your opinions. Thanks http://soundcloud.com/lswift76/high-for-this-9
  12. Yeah it sucks. More than likely will need ARP head studs, head gaskests, EGR delete and oil cooler rebuilt. They have to take the cab off the truck to do those so I will have to take one of my guys up there to remove the box and false floor. This normally is in the 3-5k range. I just pray the heads arent warped at this time. Is so I can chalk up another 3k. Not to mention if I go ahead and do injectors, they are 300.00 each I would need 8 of them . If all of this needs done I will do it right and probably go ahead and do a 4in full exhaust, upgraded injectors and turn the boost up...... Or I could just fix just whats needed and trade it on a car for my wife and put all my audio gear in my Escalade and drive it daily.
  13. Truck went in for some repairs. Kept overheating, that's bad for the 6.0 diesel. This could be a very costly repair depending on the outcome. Truck will be gone for a week or two and likely 3-7k in repairs depending.... But I will make sure it's bulletproof That sucks. But all my gear will be here when I get it back, lol
  14. Wow, they have still been very prompt with answering my emails, would have never known. Prayers to him and his heath / recovery!
  15. Thanks man. Now i have come across something which I would really like to decide on pretty quick. I know I have said I want tot run the AB 750.1 but I can get my hands on a Crossfire XS-8k for a good price what do you guys think. http://www.crossfire.../xs-amplifiers/ That amp is a monster!! Be careful with it if you do get it. Thats a lot of power
  16. That's wrong, honestly. Go sit in the pass seat and seal up that side and roll down driver window or open driver door and demo it yourself. My last setup had port firing behind driver side. I metered 1db higher in driver seat with pass side down. This setup I wanted that effect for pass side so I switched it. It's brutal on pass side sealed up. Try it
  17. Your port setup is like mine. Sounds and probably meters best in the pass seat with pass window sealed up and driver window down? Mine does anyway
  18. Did you even look in the forum your posting in?? The same thread is directly under yours with answers in them.
