  1. No Problem! Now get rocking on that engine bay, I want to set that motor/trans in there before the week is out!!
  2. Yeah, i have a suggestion. GO BIG OR GO HOME! Well getbent has not pulled any punches on going big on the drivetrain of this project. From talkin to him he is deffinately more of an SQ kind of guy. But using his motor as an example it does not hurt to have on tap.
  3. Love the way the pods are installed. They have a great presence with the doors open, then when the doors are closed they have a smooth flow with the interior. Seat color choice would be great combining the tan with black as a base color then the pods would be a reflection of that. Tremendous work!!!!! Thanks for the fine example of what can be created with patience and a willingness to work outside the box!
  4. Icons do sound like a great choice for you. If you havn't seen it here is a link to the 2010 ICONS Free shipping for October. Good Luck with your decision.
  5. Unless someone else has a suggestion, I would say "trial and error" From my experience the cost of mdf material for learning is cheap compared to paying someone. With anything you get what you put into it!
  6. Cain't wait to see some more, next time you take pics get a few more of the knife blade, I'm still trippin on the reflection in it!!
  7. I got a little time before the subs show, and another project in the works so i'll keep working on the specs. Thanks
  8. Looks Great!!!!
  9. I'm sure my son will let you drive it, if you let him drive this rat-powered truck were workin' on!!
  10. I originally used this and it showed just under 300 cu" and thought I was doing good by getting 225 cu" with 29.5x7.5 port, even that is big! Thanks
  11. Most of the acoustical energy from the driver comes from the port, the woofer exciting the air inside the port makes the deebeez. Julian did not suggest the maximum port area, that was the MINIMUM port area to maintain port linearity. Precisely Thats why i said Moar is better. With a gross volume of about 17 cu' available, I don't see any way to get that much port area (364cu ") and have any internal volume for the subs. A slot port with that area I figure at about 6 cu' / and using round ports I would need like 6-8" ports or 4-10" ports. That just seems insane.... Can someone enlighten me on this, thought I had a rough plan but now my old brain is confused. Thanks
  12. Good Stuff right there!!!!! Make sure to put that vid in the Bravox vid competition!!!!

  19. To much wining, he acknowledged he prefers a particular brand, but spends the time to reveiw all companies that are willing to send a sample. I look at the willingness of a company to at least send a sample as pride in there product. Thanks for the reveiw and I'll be checking back for more of your findings.
  20. It's all takin' place at my house, so I don't know, but I'm lookin' forward to it!!
  21. If all goes well, 2-3 weeks motor will be in and running! After seeing my son's car you should know me by now! If grasshopper's patience and $ hold out, yes the whole truck will be done.
  22. Looks like the enclosure is behind the cover/ trim panel for the trunk. So yes they are separate peices. May not be exactly what you are wanting but read through this thread it has some possible ideas on what you are/or lookin for: Good Luck!
