What amps? What bats? You building the enclosure?? Should be an awesome build!!! More More More!!!
  4. Yep, that's me, the make it happen guy!
  5. I had moved him away from his first idea, but now he is back to it..."I want to keep the front completly like it came from the factory" Guess I won't be able to install that aftermarket headunit he bought...
  6. I'd have to be holding a big stick, he's bigger than me!!
  7. I tried to tell him they were leading him in the wrong direction. What can I do??? I do not have the power of mind control.
  8. I don't think he will bring a box, some of the problems have stemmed from having to have the space in the back for the T-tops.
  9. That would work for me... I had originally suggested a floor build that would have the amp and sub flushed into it.
  10. Thanks, not sure if it is his understanding of things or his wife's continued interjections. Maybe a mix of the two!
  11. This is a pic of the space I have to work with in the rear. These are not pictures of his vette, just a few I looked at on the net. Another one: This is something I found that I thought would be a nice drop in, but the owner don't like it.
  12. Yes I beleive that to be correct.
  13. Sorry to hear about work being slow, I would agree it is nice to have a day off during the week once in a while.
  14. Even before ///M5's advice I wanted him to focus on the front and put a small sub in the rear. He has been talking to some audio shop were he lives and the items you see are what they recommended. I would have to agree about not installing speakers in the rear. According to what he wants, I have the space in the cubby that is beside the battery to work with for the sub. Don't know how much space that will give but I know it's not gonna be much. I told him it may take fiberglassing to get as much space as we can or the sub would not preform correctly. He didn't like my guess-ta-ments on fiberglassing.
  15. Well, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. The owner of this vehicle has gone in a different direction. Went and purchased all his gear and I get to make it all work. Front speakers: 4X6 going in the dash. Kenwood KFC-X463C Rear speakers: compoenent set. HERTZ HSK 165 Single 8" sub: Kicker Comp 07C84 5 channel amp: PowerBass Xtreme XAX-5640FD Wish me luck, the vehicle will be here anytime and I can get started. Not looking forward to this, but I promised I would help him out.
  16. Must be nice!!
