  1. We took apart our bass-knobs and it only takes 1 hole to mount through the center console, you will loose the light but if that is not an issue would probly work. Here is a pic of ours Hope that helps.
  2. Great lookin' design! The way the box is put together looks excellent. Would really like to hear this!
  3. Waitin' to see the magic!
  4. I beleive he said he had a DCON on the way? Clean install! Would be nice to see that bass knob in the center console. Maybe take the knob apart and mount it in the console.
  5. You have come to the right place! Welcome!
  6. Thanks! Rear turned out good, if rest of body kit goes the same we will be in bussiness. My son choose the tower amps because they were different. With the amps standing up I'm a little sceptical if the mounting feet will hold up. Still a lot to do...
  7. I used Fatmat on this project I beleive we used the 50mil vs the 80mil that the rattle trap is. I saw no problems with the adhesion of the product, but someone posted that they had problems with theirs peeling. I hope I don't have that problem. Havn't seen an issue yet and ours has been installed about 2-3 months.
  8. OOPS!
  9. damn, that's sexy X2
  10. Thanks for the kind words. Your right the 10's with the 15 has been some controversy, since the enclosures were origanally designed to fit together in the hatch and made from fiberglass we are sticking with it for now. Who knows we may rebuild at a later date.
  11. Hopefully if all goes well we will in the next 2 weeks.
  12. Now that the rear of the car is done on the outside we think it is about time to start putting together the hatch area. Some pics of the components going in the back. We got the hatch panels installed. If the rca connections look a little weird they will make some sence once we start getting the sub enclosures installed. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Here are the subs. 2-10's and 1-15. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Amps will be as follows-2 4channels and 2 monoblocks. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31
  13. Thanks! You havn't missed anything, just seems like it since the project is actually starting to look like something.
  14. Lookin' forward to seeing this setup, and I know you are ready for some bass to go with your front stage.
  15. Damn! 12's in the doors?? Wow, and I thought the 10's were crazy. This is going to be insane! Carry on!!
  16. Now time to move to the rear bumper.... This is the blank slate of the rear of the car. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 My son trimming the mesh screen in the bumper around the muffler as we are fitting bumper to the car. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Splash guards for rear bumper. We fitted them as best as possible due to the difference in the aftermarket bumper and the oem. Turned out good and gave the rear bumper a little support on the sides. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Mesh screen on passenger side of rear bumper and the screen my son trimmed to fit the muffler. Wasn't going to install screen on muffler side but my thought it would be much better and I think he was right. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Sound deadener on license plate and plate trim. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Backup camera and LED replacements for the tag light. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 Couple of shots of rear bumper installed and rear tail lights. By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31 By sefugi at 2010-07-31
  17. OK so most of the painting is completed and we have started some of the assembly of the car. We still have to clearcoat the hood and we are going to reclear the spoiler, probably next weekend. Got the new door handles, and installed them. (major pain) Also install the fuel inlet and fuel door, adjusting the fuel door was no fun either. Here's a couple of pics. I use a AA battery for checking phase and position on speakers when hooking to amp. + & - is easy when using a AA and yes movement out of the cone is correct.
  19. Welcome to SSA!!
  20. Does she have an ass like Jennifer Aniston and Megan Fox, and Bree Olsen ???? Ugly can be fixed. LOL!
  21. I was not getting all my hu had to give. Use to run it at 45 of 60. Got an oscope and checked hu output and no clipping until 54 of 60. A picture is worth a thousand words. Amazing to see 1 level up and the wave goes square.
