Thanks so much for the kind words, I think it is important that no matter how old we become that there is always more to learn. As I feel sad about your Dad's siutation with his illness I am also thankfull that you and your Dad were able to come together even if it was for a short time. Those times are very special. LED modules are super nice Prewired superflux are very bright Check out their site, prices are very fair, shipping is cheap and quick, customer service is excellent! I'm interested in these LED's. How exactly do u wire them? The 5mm LEDS come prewired(+ & -) you just wire them parallel just like you would wire subs. Definatly did not have much to take apart, that was all done.

Never had the stock peices, we found and bought the car as a basket case and the previous owner had gutted the interior, thrown out the original body components and had purchased the body kit and torn the motor apart. There was actually more brought to our house in the back of a pickup than with the car itself. Got a great deal, and received a great challenge.

I checked on Alldata and for a '99 Contour it calls for 5.2 hrs to change the inner tie rods. Calls for removal of the rack&pinion to change. If you have the special tool as decribed above the rack does not have to come out to change them.

Didn't seem that fast to us. Painting was postponed a few times due to weather, and to us it took forever. Still got a few things to due paint wise, but we are ready to move on to other things for a few weeks. Thanks for the comment!

If it's taller, I assume you have checked that the height will not hinder the hood shutting? The 2 previous suggestions would be good!

Thanks! Probly hard to tell in the pictures, but the blue went maybe a shade darker when we shot the clearcoat. We are happy with the results, especially since we are 1st timers and doing it in a 2-car garage.

Thanks! Looks a little funky without the bodykit on it. Paintwise only the Hood and Spoiler need some attention. Will probly take a break from painting for a week or 2 and work on something else.

Clearcoat (4 coats) turned out pretty good, little trash in the roof in front of the sunroof. Will have to resand that section and reshoot that part. Otherwise good to go. All the body kit has been cleared with 4 coats, but I'll spare you guys all the pictures.
