  1. We were lookin' in the 67-69 models of Impala, Yeh I voted for the import, cause untill he gets a source of income Dad will be putting gas in it. The black and blue combo was the idea from the start. Thanks for the comment.
  2. Thanks! The great feeling will hit me when the paint work is done! What an undertaking in a 2 car garage.
  3. Lot of sanding over the next week. Big production next weekend. Weather permitting...
  4. Thank you Sir, I need the cool painting toys you have. Chrome has it's place, but not on this project. Me = rattle can and LOTS of wet sanding. The most expensive component of the painting toys was the compressor and I was lucky to borrow one from a friend. If it weren't for the distance I'm gonna be finished soon and you could use this stuff. Not planning another paint project anytime soon.
  5. THANKS! To begin with my son wanted a late 60's classic car possibly an Impala, but after lookin at a few he quickly understood how hard it is to find an older car that is not all rusted out and if it is not all rusted out how proud people are of them....hence the move towards an import (rice-rod).
  6. That Looks TOUGH! I've always liked the blacked out look. Yukon emblems look GREAT!
  7. Time for a little update. Since we are painting the Hood, roof and hatch black we had to tape off all the blue. Time consuming! Black has been sprayed including the door jams and hatch jams. Not crazy about the results, but it's black. We are leaning towards wet sanding the blue to reshoot and the black will be wet sanded to clearcoat. By sefugi at 2010-07-18
  8. I don't have experience with this site as of yet, but I've been lookin at there fuse holders, dist. blocks and terminals. Prices look good and shipping seems to be fair. If stinger is not a must these may be an option. http://www.tti-plus.com/Bluewave-Audio-Platinum-ANL-Fuse-Holder-0GA-p/tti-bw-anhs3.htm Good Luck on your shopping!

  20. Agree with j-roadtatts would not hook to amp power. If you do not have a remote wire from hu, I would hook to key on power.
