That's a sweet install, I remember the Xtant amps and the extra points received for having a tool kit. I remember the original system price of 22k. Drew build some awesome cars back in the day. Things were very different back in those days on the audio scene. I am trying to get some pics of another friends car from the past. Back in 1994 (I think) he place 4th in the 1001 watts and up with his GTA. I enjoyed the USACi events I competed in, but that was back in the early '90s. Yes, very different! I did not compete, but I helped on he installs. Were you there in 91? Been a while, I beleive I competed from'91-'93, mostly in the Northwest Florida-South Alabama area.

From the picture it has a black dust cap, will it be to small for the Sundown logo?? If you have had time for testing, is there a suggested power rating and freq. range established yet?

We are getting there. Grasshoppa works the whole weekend, so hopefully Monday we finish this up!

Thanks!! Gave it just a little listen last night with a few quick adjustments. Need to go through and fine tune. Liking the sound of the DCONS, wanted to play a little louder but it was about midnight.

This was the next little mod. Grasshoppa wanted the bass knob to be stealth and we were adding a usb to the dash, so we worked them into power-port section and the ash-tray. Unit removed... Port about to be transformed. Now his wife will have power, usb and lighter. Next is the bass knob... With a little trimming it will fit in the ashtray. Here are the results.

A little update on the progress the other night. Doors are back together. CDT tweeter in stock location. Damn, didn't realize that grill was so dirty till I posted this pic. Finished up the wiring to the amp.

That's what im worried about Ha Ha!! Just don't play it loud. How the hell am i going to not play loud? I'm showing up with 4 300 watt drivers against 2 18s! lol i gotta try my best to be loud! Your right, give it hell!! I was just having a discusion with my keyboard and it promised me to never let me type something crazy like that ever again!!
