Beautifull and helps with builds, She's a keeper!!
  6. Would have loved to meet up with ya, was just in New Orleans this last weekend!
  7. When it comes to projects I can understand the needs before the wants!
  8. Thanks! Since this is being done on the cheap I didn't want to get distro-blocks. I saw a link from here on the forum and may try these on my next build. I used a piece of scrap 3/8" alum bar I had laying around. I cleaned it up a little, dilled and tapped a few holes and used an electric protectant to decrease alum to copper corrosion and eliminate alum oxidation. You probably have similiar materials laying around your garage to make your own distribution blocks for free Thought about that, but I've done so much stuff for other folks I have depleted most of my goodies laying around the garage.

With so many choices out there and seeing so many speakers being used here on the forum it make it hard to choose! Sure you have already checked out some how to's but I liked this idea on clean seams:

Thanks for the vids! You seem to hold good voltage, what amp are you using? Cute model for the vids!

  12. Check the For Sale section: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/forum/16-for-salewanted/
  13. Never seen that type of design either, curious were you saw that? Found it here: http://www.diysubwoofers.org/prt/dual_chamber.htm "The primary advantage of the dual-chamber system over a simple ported system using the same driver is a further reduction in driver excursion, caused by the addition of a second port resonance within the passband of the system. This reduction in excursion results in increased power handling within the system's passband, making this type of system particularly suitable for use for drivers with low Xmax. However, because of the additional chamber and venting requirements, this system is considerably more difficult to design and build when compared to a simple vented system."

Well that sucks, it doesn't take much for the ceramic inside the O2's to get damaged. I'm sure you'll get it straightened out.
  15. That poor truck said ugh!
  16. < Inspired by your Craftsmanship!
  17. Thanks! This will be my intro to "using" Sundown products even though I have a stack of Sundown in the garage waiting. Thanks! I'm with ya on the relay!
  18. Completed all the wiring on the amp rack so it can be mounted. Installed a relay for remote for the amps, just always have liked using a relay for the remote wire. Will be feeding the power and the ground from the back of the amp plate through studs to the amp mount side.
  19. Used a peice of mdf and some carpet I had left over from the FlyBoy S10. Got the amps somewhat spaced out like I wanted. I'm using a Sundown SAE-1200 recently reworked at dB-r for the subs and a Pheonix Gold V745 for the mids & highs.
