  1. I have my 18s temporarily wired up in a less than optimal enclosure right now (~11.75 cubes tuned to 40hz) wired to 2.8 nominal on an SAZ3500D just to try everything out and evaluate the electrical a bit. So far, with very minimal play/tune time, I am pleased with the output and definitely think these things have the potential to put up some nice numbers. I think they will be a force to be reckoned with in the MECA lanes next season. I predict SSA will be dominating in the lanes in 2012.

    Happy Birthday!!
  3. I doubt a direct drop in replacement will yield a large increase in output. Why not hook it up in your car and see for yourself?
  4. Welcome to SSA!

After seeing bigjon and Danielle's new puppy, I thought it would be fun to share a few pics of my furry friends. Here is our little girl Maude at 2 months, we picked her at 2 weeks and she has been fantastic - At about 3 months - Here's one of her guarding some of the goods (only the alt. and batteries actually made it into the build) - Photobucket is acting up, I'll post more when it decides to work. I know there are many four legged family members here at SSA, feel free to share some shots of your very own foot warmers.
  8. People actually get upset over this shit?
  9. Cute pup, I love 'em when they're tiny. Mine always grow so damn fast.

As odd as it was, the Gamecube controller was the most ergonomic ever imo. I liked it a lot. always loved the triggers on the GC controller.. i think i need to dust mine off and play some super smash bros Am I the only person that loved the N64 controller? I had a Playstation I'm sorry.
  14. Looks good, hopefully someone in my state will be competing with the HDC4s next season so I can get a demo.

Nope, there are too many variables and you haven't supplied enough information to even pretend to take a stab in the dark. I probably wouldn't use more than 1k each in a daily setup though. You're not going to see huge benefits by putting 2x rms power to these drivers anyway. I think you'd be pleased with the output of a pair of SSDs in a proper enclosure on about 2k.

A pair of SSDs on just one of those amps wired to 1 ohm would work well.
  17. Why didn't you just slip it in Neutral and apply the brake to stop? It sounds like the throttle is stuck wide open, check the pedal and linkage.

  20. Indeed, how's the electrical in this vehicle? Hell, what vehicle is this going in?
  21. I was told to use 3 cubes per using a SAZ 2500D. So, ~1250w each at 3 cubes. I think using <900w each in 3ft^3 would be just fine.

Nelson Cruz 3 run jack. He must be trying to rival Reggie Jackson.
