It won't be a waste, it will come in handy. It will become your best friend when tracking down any electrical problems. I use mine all the time, most valuable tool I have for car audio.

First day back to school for me. I have to be in Anatomy in 7 hrs.

I have a 100.2 that I have yet to install, it seems very nice though. There's one on db-r for cheap, if I were in your shoes (considering the fact that you're in a ranger and really only need a front stage, I'd snatch it up and sell off the 200.4) I would probably just opt for a simple 2 way passive setup using the 100.2.

We just used the old box that we had the RE subs in previously, it's WAAAYYY better.

I had to go buy some silicone to seal my own enclosure as it had none when I got it, the sub cutouts were not round and I had to modify them in order to get the subs to actually lay down in the holes completely. I'm getting HORRIBLE baffle flex with 175 and 300 watt subs on 4-500 rms or less (There's no way in hell that the subs that came with it would work). The terminal cup is held in by 3 screws (the 4th is not in the wood, just hanging free through the plastic only) and I get horrible noise from the box if I go above halfway with the volume.
