I think you would be happy with the BLs, unless you are wanting serious sound quality and were going to go with the high qts option on the Q and seal them up.

He needs power at 4 ohms but not very much of it as this sub is only rated at 150 rms I think. I would run the kicker amp, it would match and is probably an all around better amplifier.

Speakin' of deadener, I might do a bit of deadening myself today.
I use it in too many different places to mount it. I haven't had any problems at all, it doesn't bounce around on me a bit. Do you hold onto it or just set it down and smack it? I hold the wire/terminal, maybe that's why it's more stable for me.
Looks like loads of fun, I like it. I keep talking about building one, can't decide between building my old full body '73 super or using the engine for something like this.
