I got a sa-8 sub, and the box i haveis made of that * now my question is this ---How far should the distance be from the back of the sub to the front of the port, the sub is 5 1/4 deep and from the back side of the front to the front side of the port i have 5 9/16 -- is 5/16 of a inch enough room for air movment or what should i do the spec is from ssa so Im thinking they know what is best.just asking

I was wondering if any one has a cut list and a box design for a sa-8 ported-- I orderd a box design from ssa and have yet to get it ( back in March), got the sa-8 and amp , but no disign - have miss two shows cause of the no desing show up- so if any one could help I would really appricate it , I have heard great things about ssa but it seems there having problems with the turnaround time/ or even answering e-mails.$40 ids alot for a design I would think it would not take more than 1- 1/12 weeks to get thank you

who or how do you contact the disign people about a box you have paid for but not gotton yet

I have call the number you have on the web sit and every time I call no one seems to answer. I have recived allmy good but am wondering why I have not gotton my box design, as yet. also I notive you give free designs on one of your pagies, why dont you give free designes for the sa-8, i sent you $40 for a desaigne and you give them away for bigger subs-- that dont seem right . thank you

did you have ssa desing your box I bought the sa8 and the amp as well but have not gotton the box dementions for it yet---I dont want to WAIT

I got mine and the amp to go with it just waiting on the design to geter all done

can't wait to get my box design - got every thing else - - I orderd the design 2 days after I order the amp and box, got that stuff last thursday. I hate it when your ready to do something and you can't just case of a piece of paper lol oh well Ill just look at the sub and rock my head back and forth and act like its beating harder than shit

was wondering if it is a good idea to have your amp mounted to your sub box-seems like there would be a lot of bumping to raddel something lose over time in the amp having it mounted to the side

lol got to feel young to stay young, got me a 87 cutty with about 20k in it and a 84 chevy carpice low rider so Im just enjoying life as best I can , Need to learn more about this sterio stuff tho. being right in the middle of both coast (nebr) its a little hard to know witch way to go lol

just a sa-4 and a SAX-125.2 for now I got a 87 cutty and i dont have room in the trunk casue of my 5th wheel so im just putting a small one in on the upper leadge. Like I mention im 62 and dont need the head bangen back and forth, my 3 boys got fi's 1-15 the other has 2-15s and the oldest has a 15 and they beat CRAZY its cool but im more old school and just want a little hardnest.

What is the best wood glue when building your sub box. Reg wood glue don't seem like it would be strong enough, For what Im useing Im sure it would be, but I still want to use the best,
