  1. thats how i say 1/2 sometimes when i am stuck doing measuresments like 3/4 and 1/4 i have definatly said 2/4 before-- if it means the same thing then WTF does it matter. x2 thought i came back to some feedback but just bickering but ya that plexi glass idea sounds cool. if what i got right now wont work may have to go to that step

Pics of the amp rack not to good but u can get an idea might try to drill some holes and run wires through it but it was a PIA mounting the board back there it might get what it gets i know looks kinda slack got to take panel off and zip tie them together behind it best thing is seat closes need to figure out how to wrap the top of the enclosure so i can finish it- i can staple the front where the wood is but what about the back i cant staple into that fiberglass its a lil thick any suggestions also can i change my thread title to 3 SA-8s in a Nissan Frontier or something like that ?? want to finish it up need my lows back
  3. updated pics trying to find out where i should mount my wooden dowels to keep fiberglass from sagging on top/ how many i need- the braces are not level with the top- dont know why but all the fiberglass had me feeling dizzy will try to take a picture of my new amp rack tomorrow just need a little help to keep fiberglass top from saggin and i can get this thing finished up thanks

  5. i think they can fit more than that in the doors not my style but great quality
  6. so if im running three wired up to 1.33 ohms powered by a sae1200 should i need to do this . dont want to ruin anything by making a mess with the epoxy or damage them o yeah and box will be around 1.3 to 1.5 cubic feet before displacement will know exacty once i get my braces done

  9. Been a while . Work has been crazy. Can't complain that is what paid 4 all this. Got alpine r 6.5 coaxials in back and 6:5 components front installed all the wires run. . I know old pics but do I need to add any braces about to run cloth over top so I can finish will try to borrow neighbors camera 4 somw updates

K FIRST OFF I FEEL STUPID its one with the 2 prongs coming off do i need to solder those on there and if so what would be the best solder to use i think i got 60 40 or do i need special fitting almost got my door speakers in and done just need some advice on this also i ran out of aluminum wire so i ran copper to two of them i dont think that will hurt will it
  12. agree with cranberry no on potty pads and say no when they do it inside and take them out also another thing if you have time you can watch the dog and you can tell when she/he has to go and when you see this take them out.. such as wandering and sniffing is what mine did when she had to go
  13. can i run my speaker wire and rca cables in the same door jam or do i need to run them seperate. power wire is seperate from rcas but does speaker wire matter or not another questions trying to wire up my apline 6.5 coaxils how do i know which one is the postive and which one is negative or does it matter
  14. took about a week for me but still not anywhere close to having my build finished i have just heard great things about the 1200 so i picked me up one
  15. got 2 of big 3 done will do + to alt when i get my knu wire in --- got a stinger voltmeter i got to find a place to put --- stock alt and stock battery- gonna buy a new battery when i get the cash to---probably either an xs or kinetic - then if that doesnt hold up h/o alt probably dc power one step at a time -- o ya got to do this in between lifting my truck up and buying new wheels and all terrians for the truck-- dam cant wait till i get paid every week instead of twice a month thanks for the help
  16. got a sae1200v2 wired to 1.33 and my mids and lows running off a mb quart pushing 125x4 at 4 ohms will one run on 1/0 awg be enough and just split it inside the car or do i need more than that thanks trying to order wire during 5 dollar shipping from knu
  17. some people recommend putting tint over the display they say it is awfully bright. just saying from what i have read about them
  18. the coaxials i was gonna put in back they are about a foot away from subs and at aprox same height would it even be worth putting them back there i would think they would get canceled out not sure tough hmm crap thought i had it figured out Thanks lancelot and everybody body else who has helped me out through this

Update: looks like the amp is gonna be mounted behind the seat now i just have to find a way to secure it Went and listened to some speakers today during break i like the sound of the alpines looking at getting a set of spr17-s 6.5 components for up front 110w rms spr-17c coaxils for back 100w rms would this amp DSC4125 be to much or does anybody else have any ideas package i got today Think i got enough cloth lol

  21. ya i work in the Heating and air business and i love me some resetable 5 amp fuses they have saved some hundred dollar zone board from frying might as well spend a few bucks to save something that could actually could destroy the truck thanks for the input gonna order some wire and fuse holders now
