ive got a chance to pick up a blown 12'' AA avalanche, is it possible to put any sort of SI soft parts on the sub? i dont really remember is the ava is a 2.5 or a 3'' VC. thankies much.

pff, i really like my 1.3 @ 35 hz. it doent roll off till around 27 or so...and it peaks @ like 33hz...even though its tuned @ 35. wacky i know. id acutally like to go a little smaller if i could, and tune a little lower. .8 - .9 @ 29 hz would probably be pretty cool.

send it to IA and recone it to a DP for extra loudness.

i think i decided on the 2 - 6''ers.

box will be rougly 7 cubes @ 28hz, and will house 2 - 15'' RL-p's. should i run 2 - 6''s aero's, or 1 - 8'' aero?

odd, ive never heard the slighesty bit of distortion from my W7. also, how the does the large surround "add" alot of distortion?

meh...i just want to be considerable louder than my previous setup, but its just i can get 2 rl-ps for the price of 1 mag. i just dunno about the 200 or so dollar price difference. how much louder are mags than RL-p's?

i just cant make my mind up between 1 mag 15, or 2 rl-p 15's cuz id buy the mag now...then another later...but if i bought the rl-p's i could buy em both right now. decisions decisions

probably 3.5 - 3.75 tuned @ 30-32 ish gonna probably wire it @ 4ohms off an orion 2500d, so 1000 watts.

how much port area should you give a Mag 15? im thinkin about getting one to replace my 12w7.

well ive got a 12W7 right now, and im looking for a change. i just want to be louder, and i can afford to loose some SQ (current #'s with the W7 are a 144.1 @ 38 hz, and a 144.6 @ 43 hz.) ive got it narrowed down to a few diff subs im lookin @ a pair of SS RLp 15's being one of them now...i know rl-ps are not SPL drivers @ all, but i just wanna beat that w7 score by a few numbers. will this setup get the job done? also...what are the reccomended box sizes for the 15's? i know the spec on the website, but i was looking for actualy owner input. thanks much

it handles the lows extremely well. 136 @ 33hz. oh, and i have the 2500d for other things...ive ran a XXX 15, TC 3HP, W7, Type R's, Type X's off it. its all i got to hook my lil rl-i up to. and Denim...ill def check it out.

136@ 33hz for my RL-i 8'' 1.3 @ 35hz off an orion 2500d @ 8 ohms, so im guessing somewhere around 200-300 watts. i will get it up to a 140 within the next month or two.
