Thanks but i cant do that i was trying to do something small and get a little bit more base, till i get my new system witch will go on my car
  4. I still use my ear for tuning, so start out with the input level with your HU at roughly 3/4 volume, adjust the level to a point where you can hear audible stress on the subwoofer and then back off until you cannot hear it. Set the the "Bass Boost" at 0 and crossover frequency at 80 hz (play around with the tuning to find out what sounds best to your ears.) Good luck Thanks bro

Okay so im going to buy a whole new system in a year or so but for the mean while i have 2 kicker CVT, a boss amplifier 1600 watts peak, a optima yellow top battery this is all in a 4 door F-150 2007 under the back seat except the batter, and i fell like its not loud, is there any way to improve, it i have the factory radio i dont know if that plays a factor i dont think so but if any body knows how to improve it please help me maby theres a way to port the box or something
  10. It will be pushed up against the back of the trunk against the back seat with the sub and port firing back to the rear. There should be around 15" in front of the enclosure (give or take an inch or two). I was thinking of a box like this...... This was modeled for an SSA XCON 12D2. Now if I figured this correctly. It will be tuned somewhere between 30Hz and 35Hz. I don't quite know for sure how to account for the angled corners and such. But It should be somewhere between 1.75ft³ and 1.85ft³ net around the sub. And a total of about 3.4ft³ gross. I added 1.5" dowels to compensate for not having a double baffle on the front and allowing for an increased internal volume. Granted it's not much of an increase. This is along the same lines as the XCON small enclosure provided in the enclosure section. But this has a larger port, an inch taller and an inch narrower. Were you get a box design like that Can u plz find me one for fi btl 15
