  1. He is obviously using figures of speech so settle down people. What are your max dimensions of usable enclosure space?
  2. You will need/want more port area than that, just fyi.
  3. Great Score!
  4. Phi, i agree with you. And seriously, it takes a minute to put some screws in the baffle. I would way rather do that than worrying about the dry time for the glue.
  5. Mines copper. He is looking for cheap. Want me to send you a sample All of the bullz 1/0 on ebay is cca. I wouldn't doubt that they do make copper. OP, wire is not gonna make or break your system. Just get whatever can handle the current you will be pushing through it.
  6. For true sq, the subwoofer is not nearly as important as the front stage. Do you have any fiberglassing skills?
  7. SQ is the best possible reproduction of the original music. You want it to sound like you're listening to the band/group live right in front of you on a stage.
  8. Refrain from licking the windows on your bus ride home
  9. Pretty sure this bullz audio wire is cheap, which means it's not copper wire. It even says it in the ebay description. The jacket thickness varies a lot and is very thick, which tells me right away that this is cheap wire.
  10. I believe it's "fye" like "pi"

What is your voltage in these instances?
  12. I think the two SA-12's would have more output. Could you post the specs of the box for your Q and your planned box?

What electrical did you have to support that AQ?

Welcome dude. One of the best places to start learning!
  15. I just installed a Deka under the hood and it works very well (replaced the stock). I am drawing approximately 120 amps from it and voltage drop is less than 1.5 volts at full tilt, with no other electrical upgrades besides the big 3. I can't compare it to other company's products, but i am impressed by the performance for the price!
  16. Went to the Osaka restaurant in Minneapolis last night. All i can say is wow, what an experience!

Why would you do two different sizes, then make them the same later?
  18. Anywhere from 12-16 is good, depending on your desired tuning. Less port area=lower tuning, with 12" per cube being on the low end.
  19. Contacting sundown would be your best bet. I'm sure Jacob could help you out.
  20. Bass knobs don't hurt, they just let you control the level of output of your amp. So in a way they are actually safer to use, and are more convenient than messing with settings on the head unit. If bass knobs are bad, then why do most, if not all leading manufacturers supply a bass knob with each amp?
  21. Audioque makes great amps, maybe the best for your money. Their 2200 is $389 straight from the manufacturer. Other good amp companies: Sundown Incriminator Rockford Fosgate (be aware that their amps have a set subsonic filter) Digital Designs DC Audio About all i can think of right now.
  22. There are much better options out there if you have the money. What is your budget? Or are you stuck on hifonics?
  23. Voted!
  24. Supposed to get down to a balmy -20F with a wind chill of -37F tonight.
