Alright I'm done comparing.. The 12's it is! Thanks, you guys are great and hellla good help. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be very impressed with them. I wish I could get a demo somewhere. But it's all good I'm ready to get them. =]

Agh you guys are right. The 12's are going to be a lot less work and have more airspace. And I'm sure with these 12's people are going to think I have two 15's already. I'm going to just stick to 12's. Maybe 3? Hahaha

So I think I can get the 2 15's ported in there. I need a good box design. Becase I want the subs firing into the car and the port to, also. What if the port is either on top of or below the subs? Hmmm.

Okay so I only measured the inside d about the max dimensions of a box I think I could fit. And it would be getting through the back door and sliding it in through the back seat into the trunk. The length is 34-35" max.. Height is 18" max. And width/depth is 26". It really is about 28 but I don't think that will fit through the door. How many cubes would a box with those dimensions be before displacement? I would just have to cut a little of the metal that is rounded behind my backseat an make it squared to fit the box.

I took dimensions but forget where I put the paper. As soon as it stops raining I will measure my trunk so you guys can help me out some more.

Yea Ulrisa I've seen your videos on YouTube those do hit hard. What is your box tuned to? And how many cubes is it? Also do you have alot of extra room still for amps and battery, If you have one? Or how about what does your electrical upgrades consist of?? Lol

Okay so I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu. I just want to get a few ideas on how big of a box you guys think I can fit in it. I want to try to fit some xcon 15's ported and firing into the cabin sealed off from re trunk but I don't think that is going to be possible. Lol I would like to do them ported. I think 2 15's sealed would probably fit. Or should I just fit 2 12's ported with the same install, trunk sealed. What do you guys think? I have only owned a sealed prefab box, under powered, kicker L7 15's. I want to feel the lows alot better and have it sound better. Probably tune the box to 28 for 15's and 30 for 12's. I just don't want to get 12's and not be satisfied? But I'm sure 3000 rms on some 12" xcons would be impressive.

Oh yea I forget about the ""SQL"" on here lol my badd but so sir lance what size box did you have the 15'd in and 18's in now? I want it to sound nice and of course get loud when I want it to. I wanna move some air and amaze some people. In my area nobody even knows anything about FI or SSA. It's nice cuz I'll know I have a unique setup around here haha

i know 18's can sound just as good and with the right enclosure and all.. but should i just run 2 18's in 8 cubes? Noo huh.. that's just not enough of space. ahh i want to but the 15's in the RIGHT enclosure would be better i'm thinking!

Yea i wish i could use 18's !!! i was thinking of maybe 2 18's in 8 cubes sealed because about 8 cubes is as big as i want to go... but i don't know if that would work for an 18. My dream setup includes 2 18's though. My front stage will include either DLS, Morel, or Rainbow components. So i'm hoping they will blend good. Oh and my question for everyone is which would you choose out of these 2 possibilities. Or 3 (18's sealed) ... I know these are very good ""SQL"" drivers and i'm torn between the two. I'm highly leaning towards the simple 2 15" xcons though. I just have a feeling the xcons are a remarkable woofer from what i hear and read.

Also if anyone thinks i should post all of my other equipment in the setup then just ask.

Okay first of all please don't ask if i have electrical upgrades because yes i do. i Just want some opinions on subs and an amp to push them.. I'm either thinking of 2 15" SSA XCONS or 3-4 12" AA havocs. Probably 4. The xcons will be powered by a saz-3500d in AROUND 6 cubes ported tuned to around 28hz and the havocs 3 would be saz-3500d about 6 cubes ported tuned 28hz or 4 would be by a saz-4500d 8 cubes ported maybe 26hz .. I want an ""SQL"" setup.. i know either are going to be extremely loud as well.. But i am going to attempt to make this setup as sound quality oriented as possible.lol might even just do sealed boxes. but i want my subs to get very low. So any suggestions?? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Can i use a jl 6" w3v3 or maybe even 8" in my car for midbass drivers?? or would it not really make a difference? 2 12" ssa xcons off a saz-3000d. But i still can't put my hand on whether i want 2 12's or 1 15 ... would 2 6" jl's be good for midbass drivers though? like they can just fill the front of the car with a little more bass both are 150rms each.
