  1. Are there any sq builds on here? Build from the front loaders!
  2. Thank you for the warm welcome.
  3. Have you considered adding more power to your front stage? It will help you get more pronounced up front mid bass, it may or may not help with your missing frequencies. Better crossover points will help with the missing frequencies.
  4. The Ural CDD is another head unit that can go 3-way active+ sub
  5. You are referring to the 9pt+ questionnaire that you need to answer in order to ask a question to get the correct response.
  6. Thank you for your insight!
  7. Interesting. So where would I post a question a speaker distortion? OR THD?
  8. Just enjoying the company! Great group thus far!!!
  9. Trouble is like dB's everyone has a different tolerance.
  10. Let me know what you find.
  11. 1/0 may appear to be overkill but when your systems needs power, you have less resistance. And when it comes to your charging system there is no such thing as overkill, better to have too much power on tap then not enough. Edit: grammer
  12. Which head unit are you running? I am toss up between my DRZ9255 and my DXZ785USB.
  13. Which line, they are well worth the money. BTW they can handle about 2x+ the rms rating with ease, clean signal of course and great crossover points. I have run all of the lines waiting on some 3-way comps now to finish my build in my car.
  14. TX FTW H-TOWN
  15. Transients and Quality usually do not suffer -again if you have enough reserve power. If you are pulling enough amperage to cause a strain on your system now, I will say that you will have some minor transient inconveniences, with removal of the cap if no changes are made in your charging system. My suggestion would be to try and upgrade your alt first. Along with doing the big 3 in 1/0 ga wire.
  16. What is the warn status?
  17. No it wouldn't hurt. Lol. Why should I take the cap out? The Alt is the power source for your car, the more batteries, caps you have in your car the more work the alt has to do as it has to charge all parts in the system. The usual reasoning for removing a cap is because you have enough power from your alt and enough reserve power in your battery to bridge most amperage draws. If upgrading your alt is not possible, then a bigger battery would be an alternative as it can deliver more amperage over a longer period of time versus a capacitor.
  18. Is the forum focus more spl or sq orientated in general?
  19. Have you contacted Excessive Amperage for a H/O ALT? He may be able to take care of you.
  20. What do you mean a lot different? Pulls up a chair...please share more
  21. Thank you. I figured why not learn something new? See what this board can offer. I look forward to learning something.
  22. Sup EVERYONE!? Obviously new to this forum. From H-town metro area, I have an 05 Aveo, (I really understand system size constraints). I am a car audio installer, fabricator, fanatic, innovator, integrator, and retailer. I do it for the great sounding music. Thank you in advance for the warm welcome.
