I might be able to make a meet in October. While I wont be competing this year, I am attending world finals with a few friends so I will have to see what my money looks like closer to that point.

Insurance company came this morning, he took some pics and told me that I should have the check tomorrow or saturday. still havent heard from any detectives, but after speaking with the nosier of my neighbors i found out that I was one of five cars that had things stolen.

I think them leaving the knife they used to cut the wires in the back will lead to a swift aprehension. insurance comes tomorrow and I found my original receipt from the purchase so hopefully everything works out.

I had it out a few days ago to move some personal stuff and forgot to bolt it back down. the subs were crewed in with torx screws and the amprack was bolted to the box with torx screws. depending on what the insurance company says I may be jumping on that US Amps +SS deal sooner than I expected. but I will be jumping on an alarm with six million piezos hidden on the inside before i do anything else.

so the cops just left and they dusted for prints...they got some really good ones of the hatch itself and apparently the thieves used a swiss army knife to cut my wires...how do I know you ask....they broke it cutting through my 4ga power and ground and left the broken handle piece in the truck...some really good fingerprints were retrieved from that as well. they also got good prints off the distrobution block caps that they broke trying to free the wires. here are a few pics for tonight.....it was dark and my batteries were dying I will get more tomorrow after the progressive claims person comes out.

Walked out to my truck this afternoon (about 20 minutes ago) to find everything missing except my CD player. ill get pics and more info as soon as the cops leave. this happened right infront of my house beetween 6am and 6pm today.

I like usaci and DBDrag. the politics in DBDrag kill me as well as the lack of trophies/prizes. if you arent 1st - 3rd place you dont get chit. I went to a 2X a few weeks back here in Orlando. Paid fourty dollars, took 4th place in Bass Race and didnt get a damn thing. The last usaci show I went to I took 4th place in street Beat 3 and atleast got a certificate. now I know I can print my own certificate off the DBDrag page and thats cool and all...but I still paid fourty bucks for a sunburn. the only reason I have a DBDrag membership is because of Bass Race, it is a whole lot of fun and very very addicting. I am not a very big fan of street beat...I have two JBL GTO15's and I was put up against a guy with two MT's that did low 50's....I do really low 40's on music.

Ok, so ive had my 8053 for about two months now and I am completely in love. so in love, I was telling my girlfriend the other night that if my truck ever caught on fire I would actually take the 8053 out before saving anything else...lol I wanna add XM to the truck, no need to try to get me to pick sirius they dont have Baseball. My dilema here is that my favorite team (Oakland A's) is on the West coast and I am on the East coast, that also kinda helps because I work the 11pm to 7am shift and I could bring the radio in with me and continue to listen. I am looking at getting the XM MYfi because I can take it everywhere I go. So I guess my question is what do I need to hook this up in my truck? I know I have the extra Auxillary port on the 8053 that I could use but im not totally sure if it will work like that.

Not sure what your price range is but the new Eclipse HU's are nice and also offer the features you are looking for.
