i read up on these and you can strap them but you wont get 1800rms two strapped will produce 1800 peak is what their website has tested

check the subs with a dmm if you have one that will tell you for sure about the subs as for the amp try unpulgging every wire and re plug it in if the sub is good reconect it if it still stays in protect its somthing with the amp my old amp did that to me still havent figured it out yet i think it was the power supply that went on mine

not to good with amps but if you open it up just check for any burnt or fouled conections is a start but other than that i'm lost hope that helps a bit

if you have a dmm pull the subs out and check thier voice coills that will tel you if it's the subs.

yes they can get very expensive i just started my first big build and after 1 month of planning i'm probly 1500.00 into it and still need to get a extra battery and alternator for my electrical so i'm looking at about 750 more and i have one btl 12 and a saz 2000d custom box i built tuned to 33hz 50ft of 1/0 gauge to power everything and my big 3 bigger wire is not cheap i didn't expect the price but i'm too far in to turn back now and i know it will sound killer when i'm done

i have 8 gauge it's just hard getting two into one terminal to wire the sub

i was told at the audio store that if it is too small for my amp i will hear distortion or is that them trying to get my money

i know you have a chart for this question but i am wondering whitch battery you would recomend for my setup i have a 110amp alternator and the big 3 with 1/0wire and am going to be running a saz2000d at 2000rms at 1ohm to my daily music system and my budget is up too 300$

or would it be better to suck it up and buy the alternator instead of battery

hi i'm between a second battery or an alternator both will cost around the same my only problem with the 2nd alternator is that my car is a piece of sh@t and not sure how long it is going to last me and dont want to put parts into it i cant transfer to a new vehicle when i get one my audio ive got is a saz2000d, 12" fi btl with daily, cooling dual 2ohm wierd at 1 ohm big three with 1/0 gauge stock alt is 110amp and main battery is a 24 ah canadian tire thing lol oh and my buget is 250-325

the re calculator isnt very good to use it doesn't acount for the displacement of the sub or bracing so your tuning will be higher that it says i found that out when i used it to build one from that i then had to modify my box to get my desierd tuning
