finally got my subwoofer got crome red to match the sunfire it's going in out with the old and in with the new

and the long awaited pictures of my newest member of the family so now out with the old and in with the new and have to give my love to my fiancee for her support through out my build and if not for her my sub would not be here at the moment and she had to get into the photo shoot too. she gets just as excited as me

lol fed ex guy was cursing and swearing dragging my 12" fi btl up my walk way and asked me what i ordered a steel cube i laughed at him waddling up my walk way and now my fiancee is mad at me bc she cant move it off the couch bc it's too heavy for her

any views on the iraggi i found one for like 249.00 can puts out 180amps at 1000rpm any views if they are a good alt?

couldnt i get an alternator that puts out 16v to charge a rear battery and put a restrictor on the lines that run to my 14v setup? if they make a resrictor?

just curious for another project to work on and it will give you a little more out of your amp is what ive heard.

have no clue how to even start but am woundering how to convert my 12v to a 16v system ? what is all requierd i don't have a budget as of yet but i am also wondering how much aproximatly it would cost.

just got the amp yesterday didn't think it was gonna be that beefy but sh'e a tank i love it just an absolute amazing piece of technology. now just a few more days untill my subwoofer arives.

just bought a saz2000d off crazykenkid and he's was amazing to deal with gave me tons of info and answerd my questions really fast kept me informed through out the whole prosses eccelent description of the item would definatly do business with him again

my car did that and it was b/c of the voltage drop and i ended up frying my amp but it could be anything from abouve stated by stefanhinote

turned out mine was the plugs and wires so i redid them with ngk performance ones and redid the ignition coil as well just to get a little more out of the new ones plus i had them put high flow venom injectors and fuel pump and replaced the fuell filter just to be happy lol got quite a boost in performance i'm happy with the results did the work myself to save some money all the shop did was figure out what was wrong all said and done cost me 400.00

just found out theres a back order on my carpet so now have to wait a couple weeks so i mounted the amp for now and just waiting for the subs to come should be in on friday and were going to give it a test run and she how she sounds but heres the progress so far agian used 5/8 stainless steel theads bit more money but less resistance when i put the meter to it 2 single 4 ohm subs wired to 2ohms

my 98 2.2l sunfire does the same thing exactly but it keeps getting worse i took it in and just waiting back on a verdict b/c i did all the same tune ups as you so it maybe the injectors or fuel pump but i will let you know what mine was soon as i get my answer too wat is wrong might help you

all thats left is carpet and to put the subs in and start pounding away

just an idea but if you turn it side ways and mount it between the two buttons by the auxilary/cig lighter drill a hole just so the turn knob and light stick out

hey i don't understand why visions in my town when running the speaker wire to the sub used 16 gauge and twirled it around it self so when i unwound it there was probably 7-9 ft just going to the box does twisting the wire do anything or are they just trying to charge for more wire ? I'm redoing it with 12 gauge it's only for a 600rms alpine amp so 12 gauge i figure is plenty
